-Shay's pov-

The flight was only a few hours me and Denice mostly listen to music on our phones. I watched a movie once I got bored of the music. The movies on the plane where older ones I decided on one called "High School Musical" It was a oldie but a goodie. Me and Denice used to watch it over and over again we knew every song to this movie and every dance too. Halfway through the movie I glanced over at Denice who had opened her journal and was writing in it. Shortly after the movie ended the plane landed in Withering Brook and everyone got off. Denice and I grabbed our bags as well as several other young people from the plane and we all loaded onto a bus, me and Denice getting excited the whole bus was buzzing when I saw a blonde headed person heading right for me and Denice. "Well hello ladies oh my god! It's been way to long I missed you both," it was Ray who shouted at us as she sat down in front of us a big smile on her face. We both smiled back reaching over the seats to give her a hug each when I reply. "Hi  Ray your right it's been way too long. Im happy to be back at school for once in my life," Denice laughed along. "Yes me too, it's nice to see you Ray," my sister adds on.

Just then the bus started moving and off we drove to Dusk Manor chatting and catching up along the way it was a short trip to the Manor and as soon as we arrived we headed towards the dorms being stopped by a teacher Ms.Alexander as she waited for us to all be there and then spoke up loudly. "Year 2 students to your old dorms same with year 4 and year 6 students. As for year 3 students your in the same dorm as year 4. As well as year 5 students you will be in a the same dormitory as year 6. Those 2 dormitories are in the back of this one. It's 3 to a dorm as usual. That is all, have a good evening ladies and don't be late for the welcoming feast." I looked and Ray and Denice who both nodded and we ran as fast as we could to the new dorm building. We found a dorm at the end of a long hall it was a corner dorm we walked in and there was 2 closets right in the entrance and then as we walked further into the room on either side of the entrance was 2 single beds with a night table and lamp next to one bed a 3rd closet and next to the other bed a ladder leading up to a loft area where the 3rd bed was. Across from the beds was 3 very small desks with 2 big windows above them. It was a spacious dorm it was going to be different but at the same time awesome. We all claimed beds Ray up in the loft and Denice next to the window of course we all knew why she wanted that bed and I was across from Denice. Me and Ray got the closets in the entry way and Denice got the closet next to her bed. We started unpacking and putting our belongings away hanging our clothes in the closets and such before putting on our uniforms and heading to the dining hall for the welcome feast. Once there I ran to my man hugging him tightly before sneaking a small peck from his lips. "Hi baby," Tobi smiled, his big beautiful smile and answered back. "Hello baby, hello Denice and Ray," I looked over to the girls when Denice waved and Ray smiled back. "Hi Tobias, oh my gosh! Jake is that you?" Denice mentions making us laugh and when we all turned around to look at Jake who might I add had a growth spurt during the summer and was looking pretty cute and muscular. "Hi ladies what's new?" He says pulling Denice into a hug. They were always close since first year and they bond was something special. We giggled and sat down at our table and began chatting while watching the fledglings get sorted before digging into the most delicious feast once we were done eating the class schedules were given out me and Denice having the same classes except for 2 and Ray having 3 of the same classes with us as for the boys schedules they were a little different but we did have a couple classes each that matched up. Once we finished looking over the schedules we all went back to our dorm rooms to head to bed the first day of class was tomorrow. Once we got back to the dorm room and into our pjs we all sat down on our beds Ray sitting with me so we could chat and catch up.

"So Ray what's new this summer besides you spending most of it at the beach hmm, any new tattoos we should know about or piercings, what about boys hmmm?" I questioned her as she started blushing and Denice started bugging her as well. "Oh! So there is a boy is it someone we know or someone new? Is he a vampire or human oh my goodness! Ray did you find a summer love?" We all laughed teasing Ray making her hide her face in a pillow. "Okay, okay so maybe there is a boy so what you girls are on a need to know bases and right now you don't need to know," she replied. We all laughed and Ray promised to tell us when she was ready after that we all curled up in bed I think I was the first one to fall asleep Denice and Ray falling asleep shortly after.

The next morning we got up Ray curled her hair and I braided mine and Denice too and we got into our uniforms and applied a small amount of make up mostly foundation and cover up with some eye shadow and a little bit of mascara before we headed toward the school we just got inside when Mr.Fitz came over smiling at us and said, "Miss Denice your mother wants to speak with you in her office, Shay she wants you to head to the infirmary immediately and Ms. Lorraine you can head to class please," We all looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders before heading our separate ways.
