Nathan Jones: Rise of the Frost Devil

Scene 6 "Highest temperature"

At the bunker, Nathan sits in a chair in the conference room with Megan and Andy listen as Nathan and K.J. argue.

K.J.- (Anger) "Why did you leave the Bunker? you left and on top of that you managed to steal my card and car."

Nathan Jones- "Can we not talk about that?"

K.J.- "No, let's talk about it right now."

Nathan Jones- (Snaps) "Fine."

K.J.-  "Why did you steal my car and credit card? Don't you know that stealing will get you in a lot of trouble one day?"

Nathan Jones- (Calmly) "You know what? You're right. I guess my dad wasn't there to teach me that."

Andy and Megan look away with shock on their faces. K.J. goes quiet.

Nathan Jones- "I'm sorry, I don't know where that came from. I didn't mean that."

K.J.- "No, you're right. I was busy getting the bunker ready for you that I didn't think to look for you until it was too late."

Megan and Andy look at K.J. then Nathan.

Megan Topps- "Babe, tell us what happened."

Nathan looks at everyone.

Nathan Jones- "Well I can't explain it. It's like I. We. (Sighs) Megan, Andy do you guys remember Psycho Sand? (Megan and Andy nod) Well, I think she's back. (Megan and Andy look confused) I know it sounds unbelievable but she shot sand at me."

Nathan lifts his shirt showing a black and blue bruise on his side. He lowers his shirt while crossing his arms.

Andy Rod- "Well that's not really possible we killed her by turning her into a giant glass statue and you shattered her into millions of pieces right before (Stumbles his words) you know."

Nathan Jones- "I know."

A man in a suit walks up to Megan handing her a jar of pickles and a tub of whipped topping. The man leaves as Megan opens them. She stands up while eating pickles with whipped topping.

Megan Topps- (With food in her mouth) "Unless it's a copycat, like someone who's perfected her work of moving sand and shooting it from their body."

Nathan Jones- "That's possible."

Andy Rod- "Nathan, that would be impossible, as far as we know she shot it from her body without any gadgets."

Nathan Jones- "I know, but this one shot from their hands as well."

K.J. sits and listens in while they talk, he looks at Megan and gives a weirded look as she eats. K.J. turns back.

Nathan Jones- (Thinking) "Well what if she had a brother? I mean it' would make sense, wouldn't it?"

Andy Rod- "Nathan, in class back in '84 she told us she didn't have any siblings only a..."

Megan Topps- (With food in her mouth) "Dead son."

While they talk a man in a suit walks in with a tablet, he presses a button on it as a projector turns on. On the screen was a photo of a man with long black hair. The man in the suit hands Nathan the tablet.

K.J.- "I'm not following."

Andy Rod- "Back when Psycho Sand and we met, She kept blaming Nathan for her child's death. However we never even met her son."

Nathan Jones- (Looking down at tablet) "What's this?"

Man in a suit- "It's a list of criminals that broke out as of late."
