Nathan Jones: Rise of the Frost Devil

Scene 14 "Way to Heaven"

Megan begins chuckling as Jason and Ryan look at her.

Jason Corvin- "What's so funny?"

Megan looks at them with a smile on her face, behind Jason and Ryan a white fingerless glove climbs over the top of the hill. The glove had rips and tears on it along with a little blood.

Megan Topps- "What's so funny is, that you two idiots thought you'd beat Nathan that fast. Don't you know he's a god?"

Jason and Ryan turn around and look at the top of the hill as Nathan begins standing up slowly, he draws his ice-axes.

Nathan Jones- (Groaning in pain) "Hey assholes. Did you miss me?"

Jason and Ryan look at each other then back at Nathan, after realizing Nathan won't stay down they turn and run in separate directions. Nathan limps his way over to Megan while dropping his axes and begins untying the ropes holding her to the tree, Nathan falls over onto his back and groans in pain. Megan takes the rope and put it into her pocket.

Megan Topps- "Jason's not going to stay away from that long, (Helping Nathan off of the ground) We need to get you to the street."

Megan helps Nathan up and begins walking him through the forest and to the street. Megan sets Nathan down onto the curb, she calls K.J. from Nathan's headset. Behind her Jason begins walking up to her, she senses him and turns around. When she turns around Jason grabs her by the throat and lifts her off of the ground, Jason looks down at Nathan who's lying on the ground, Nathan's body shook uncontrollably. Jason looks back at Megan and begins staring into her eyes as the color slowly faded from them.

Jason Corvin- "Now it's just you and me, forever."

Megan waves her hand at her pocket as the rope flies out and wraps around Jason's throat, he drops Megan and begins trying to remove the rope, the rope lifts Jason off of the ground and carries him into the middle of the wooded area and drops him. The rope comes back and folds into Megan's pocket, she falls to the ground holding her abdomen in pain as K.J. and other men in suits pull up and exit their vehicles, K.J. runs to Nathan as the men in the suits direct an ambulance to Nathan's body. A crowd of people begins walking up to see what the dilemma was all about Megan sits over him, crying as she kisses his forehead.

K.J.- (Looking at Nathan's body with sorrow) "I told you to come back to me."

Megan Topps- (Crying) "Nathan... Nathan, please come back to us."

K.J. and Megan get pulled off of Nathan and dragged to the ambulance by police. Megan begins fighting back, the purple mist rises from her arms and begins throwing the officers backward as she screams in pain. Megan crawls back to Nathan and cradles him with tears streaming down her face, officers go to grab at her.

Megan Topps- (Angry) "No, I'm not leaving him here."

K.J.- (Looking at Megan) "Megan let them take him, if you don't he might die."

Megan looks down as Nathan's body twitches and slumps over. Megan begins crying harder and leans onto Nathan's body.

Nathan stands up in a white room with clouds in every direction, he begins looking around for people. Has he looks around he begins hearing whispering coming from behind him, he turns around to see nobody there. He sits down as the whispering continues, as he sits there a footstep in front of him. He looks up to see a woman standing over him, she had blonde hair and a sky blue eyes.

Nathan Jones- (Stands up) "Sarah?"

The woman nods and began speaking without any sound, Nathan begins getting confused. Sarah points to her left as two more people walk up to him. Nathan runs over and hugs the women on the left.

Nathan Jones- (Scared) "Mom, mom where am I?"

Nathan lets go of his mother and look to the second person, Nathan begins smiling as he looks at Andy who smiles at him. Anna begins talking.

Anna Jones- "Nathan? Look at how big you've gotten. Andy's been telling me a lot about what you've been up to. I just can't believe you're going to be a father."

Nathan Jones- "Mom, where am I?"

Anna Jones- "You're dead Nathan, (looks at Andy and Sarah) we can't do anything but sit and watch our friends live on..."

Nathan Jones- (Interrupts) "Dead? No, No. I can't be dead. How do I get back? I... I have to be with Megan, I have to help defend the world. I..."

Anna Jones- "Nathan calm down. We're going to help you get back."

Nathan looks at Andy, Anna, and Sarah as they all smile at him.

Nathan Jones- "How do I get home?"

Anna Jones- "Andy, Sarah you know what to do."

Sarah walks up to Anna and Andy, they make a triangle around Nathan body and begin talking gibberish. As they speak a pair of massive yellow glowing eyes opens above him. Nathan looks up with fear. Sarah, Anna, and Andy jump as the eyes leep toward him.
