Nathan Jones: Rise of the Frost Devil

Scene 16 "3 is better than 1"

Later that day Nathan pushes a wheelchair with Megan inside in it out of the hospital. Megan held both infants in her arms. Reporters and photographers run up to them.

Reporter 1- "Nathan, how does it feel to be a father after several months in a coma?"

Reporter 2- "Excuse me. Denise Style, Megan what did you name your kids?"

As the reporters began getting in their faces, Nathan and Megan begin getting stern looks on their faces. The reporter's continue getting in their faces, as Denise gets his face. Nathan snaps.

Nathan Jones- "EVERYBODY SHUT UP!"

Everyone goes quiet.

Nathan Jones- "I just got out of the hospital. Megan just got out of the hospital, so please give us a little space."

Nathan sees K.J. waiting for him and Megan. Nathan begins pushing Megan to the car, Megan with the infants gets in. As Nathan begins to enter Denise walks behind him.

Denise Style- "I'll see you at the memorial Mr. Jones."

Nathan Jones- "I bet."

Denise walks away as Nathan and K.J. enter the car and begin driving away.

At the bunker, Nathan and K.J. sit in the conference room.

K.J.- "You went after those... those superhumans without my knowledge."

Nathan Jones- (Interrupting) "No! I told you Megan needed my help, and you never listened."

K.J.- "You said she was in trouble and she needed help. I never thought it would've been against the people who killed your best friend."

Nathan sits down as K.J. walks behind his seat.

Nathan Jones- I told you Jason, Brian, and Ryan had her and you told me to be safe."

K.J.- "You died for two minutes son."

Nathan Jones- "Yes, but I came back didn't I."

K.J. walks around the room, he opens a filing cabinet and grabs a binder. He walks back over to Nathan.

K.J.- (Sighing) "Even though you fought against evil superhumans, you still protected the one you loved and managed to kill one. I'm proud of you, but you need to make a team so the world knows it's going to be safe."

Nathan Jones- "A team? What for?"

K.J.- "Because I fear something more dangerous than just three men with powers is coming. I'm making a team called the Fallen Angels Response Protocol, all you have to do is find those who are willing to join. You can start when you're ready."

K.J. walks out of the room as Nathan stands up, he walks into the hallway looking for K.J. not seeing him anywhere. Nathan begins to walk down the hallway. As he's walking he passes the camera room, he looks on at a monitor as he sees three people dressed like pirates talking to men in suits. He watches as one of the three lifts their arms as the men in the suit's weapons fly from their hands. Nathan leaves the room as the men in suits begin opening the bunker doors. Nathan walks down the hallway seeing the three people walking toward him, he stops as he puts his right hand in front of his body waiting for the three to shake his hand. The three people stop and stand in front of Nathan.

Nathan Jones- "Hello I'm Nathan Jones, and you are?"

The man with an eyepatch over his eye looks around then looks at Nathan. He shakes Nathan's hand while talking.

Man- "Darin... Darin Ue. (Looks at the other two) Katelyn Kyd and James Alday."

Nathan looks at Darin, Katelyn, and James.

Nathan Jones- "What are your powers?"

Darin looks at Nathan with concern on his face.

Darin Ue- "They don't have any powers, but I do."

Nathan Jones- "Then why are they here?"

Darin Ue- "(Points to Katelyn) She's my girlfriend and (Points to James) he's my brother."

Nathan Jones- "Fair enough, follow me."

Nathan led them down the long hallway to a room. The room had black walls, a cement floor, and a two-way window. Darin, Katelyn, and James looked around the room seeing three mattresses lying on the floor. Darin turns and looks at Nathan.

Darin Ue- "Is this necessary?"

Nathan Jones- (Looking at Darin) "We've faced superhumans with deadly powers and we just can't take the risk."

Darin, Katelyn, and James walk over to the mattresses and sit down on them as Nathan shuts the door behind him.
