Nathan Jones: Rise of the Frost Devil

Scene 18 "Unknown Presence "

Two days later. At the bunker, Nathan and Megan look through the two way glass at Darin, Katelyn, and James. Nathan and Megan turn and walk towards the door, leaving the room they walk down a long hallway.

Nathan Jones- (Aggravated) "Does he just control water, or does he do more?"

Megan looks at him with a smirk.

Megan Topps- "Nathan what's wrong with you? (Nathan looks at her) Ever since we got here and the incident with Andy, you been a huge pain in the ass. (Nathan looks away)"

Megan pulls his shoulder to make him look at her. Nathan looks at her with a raised eyebrow.

Megan Topps- (Calmly) "Nathan babe talk to me, please."

Nathan turns and continues walking, Megan follows after him. They enter their room, in the room were two beds both had kids sleeping in them. Nathan begins talking.

Nathan Jones- "I'm just tired, I haven't slept much since we got here. (Looks at Megan) and I can't stop thinking about mom and Sarah."

Megan moans with sadness and hugs Nathan, he hugs back.

Megan Topps- "Nathan, look ahead of you, at the beds. Yes, your mother's gone, but you made something with her genetics."

Megan lets go as Nathan looks at the beds.

Nathan Jones- "You're right, (Sarcastic) I'll sleep tonight knowing that she's been in front of us for the last three days. (Normal voice) Heh, I like the names you gave them, one from my mother and the other from my step-dad.

As Nathan talks the ground begins shaking harder and harder, faster and faster. Megan and Nathan turn and struggle to run down the hallway back to the room with the window. When they enter the room, they look through the window only to see Darin with the palm of his hands on the ground and his head looking tiredly at the floor, Nathan pushes a button on the wall. Darin jumps back in pain as the shaking stops, a few moments go bye with Nathan and Megan looking at Darin. K.J. enters the room with a cell phone and shows Nathan and Megan about a report.

Reporter- "A massive 5.8 earthquake shook the White House just a few moments ago, many believe that the tectonic plates in the earth have shifted rapidly..."

K.J., Nathan, and Megan look at Darin as the reporter's voice fades out.

Nathan Jones- "Megan, what did he say to you when you were talking to him earlier?"

Megan Topps- "He told me that he's a god of the water, land, and sky. He also told me that he's the grandson of Polaris."

Nathan and K.J. look at her with worry.

Nathan Jones- "Megan I think we just found my brother."

K.J.- (Nathan and Megan look at K.J.) "No way, I never cheated on your mother. I loved her with everything I had."

Megan Topps- (Interrupting K.J.) "Unless he's..."

Nathan Jones- (Interrupting Megan while looking at Darin) "My cousin."

K.J.- (Worried speaks to self) "I thought I was the only kid to Polaris."

Darin sits against a wall as Nathan, Megan, and K.J. look at him with shock.

Nathan Jones- "Megan make sure he eats I want them all fed. I think we have our third Angel."

K.J.- "Nathan a word in the hallway."

Nathan and K.J. walk away from the window and into the hallway.

Nathan Jones- "Who's Polaris?"

K.J.- "Polaris is Earth and wants to be free from his prison. He wants to be free, even if that means destroying our home."

Nathan Jones- "Where's his prison if he's Earth? I mean he can't just be held in sight."

K.J.- "He's under the great pyramids of Giza."

Nathan Jones- "Egypt? Are you kidding me?"

In the room with Megan, Megan's ear twitches in the room with the double-sided window she looks in the sense of direction.

A buzzing of an alarm goes off down the hall as Megan runs out of the room and meets up with them.

Megan Topps- (Worried) "Guys?"

K.J.'s phone goes off with an alarm buzzing.

K.J.- "We have a detection of a superhuman in... Vegas?"

Megan begins talking.

Megan Topps- "I was about to say I felt a strong presence not far from here. I'm saying it's superhuman, actually I'm saying it's something not from this world."

Nathan looks at her in shock.

Nathan Jones- "An alien?"

K.J.- "Nathan pick one and Megan will handle getting the other."

K.J.'s phone buzzes again, this time with two video messages. The first video was from a CCTV camera on the street, a car passes on the street as two men seemingly run from the center of the screen down the street stopping and fighting on the road. Black and white Lightning came from both of the men, the man on top punches the man lying on the ground then runs glitching out the camera. The second video was a black and white street camera of a man with a striped top hat lying on the street with a black liquid coming from his side as another man sits next to the body. A moment later the body lying on the ground sets fire and burns to a crisp, the smoke hovers in the air for a bit before turning into the man with the top hat his shadow cast a bird. The other man tries to run as flames ignite from the man with the top hat's hands, a pair of see-through wings sit behind the man as he looks at the camera, the camera glitches and shuts off. Megan and Nathan look at each other with smiles on their faces.

Nathan Jones- "Megan who do you want to talk to?"

Megan Topps- "Because I'm the only one who can read minds, I'll take the Andy wannabe."

Nathan Jones- "Great, I'll take the speedster."

They look at K.J.

K.J.- "Great, now go find them. Find the rest of the Angels."

Megan and Nathan head to their room and change into the uniforms, they run down the hallway and out of the bunker. Outside of the bunker Megan and Nathan kiss each other before they go separate ways. Nathan jumps and clicks his feet together then runs as Megan levitates over buildings.
