You sit cross legged in front of your best friend's mirror, applying the last swipe of mascara.

"You almost ready?" "Yeah, let me just grab my keys." You put the makeup away and put on your shoes before grabbing your keys. "So what's our goal today?" "Spend all the money we can and get some numbers." You both laugh and start talking about what stores you would go to that day. You had decided it was about time to have a shopping trip. It had been quite a while since either of you had went out and bought yourselves something nice. It doesn't take long until you arrive at the huge shopping mall. There's not a lot of people there and it's already past rush hour. You both get out and walk in, already on the lookout for cute guys. You were hoping to get someone's number today. The first store you go into is Sephora, where you look around for a while before buying a bottle of foundation and a Huda Beauty mini pallete. Your friend buys an Urban Decay setting spray and some falsies. The next store you go into is Target, and there you spend a lot of time deciding whether or not to buy a cute pair of sandals. Eventually, your friend convinces you to buy them (after a lot of strutting around the dressing room). You take them up front while she finishes shopping for some outfits. After, you go and rest for a minute at a Starbucks. You order a macchiato and sit down at one of the tables. "Hold up." "What?" "Look over there. 12 o'clock." You look up to see two boys standing about forty feet from you. One of them has blue and black hair and the other has light blonde hair. The one with the black and blue hair is slightly taller than the other one and wearing a purple champion hoodie. The shorter one is wearing a black hoodie that says "Beyond the Norm". Both of them look around 20-22 years old and they're really cute. You give your friend "the look" and she returns it back to you. "Ok damnnnn." She snickers and both of you look away as the taller one glances over at you guys. You sneak a look at them and they're looking right at you. You look the other way and you catch your friend about to burst out laughing. "Don't," you whisper, looking at her out of the corner of your eye. "Don't you fucking dare." You look up again and see that they're walking in your direction. You nervously take a sip of your drink as the two guys get to your table. You look up and manage a slight smile. "Um, hey... can I get your number?" "Sure." You tell him your number and he puts it into one of his contacts. You look up at him quickly and see that he has the most beautiful blue eyes. His friend points at him and mouths he's nervous. You smile at the blonde one and then at the other one. "My name's Y/N, by the way." "Mine's Colby." He thanks you for your number and walks away. You wave bye to the other one as well. You look at your friend as they're walking away. "Did that just happen?" She nods and laughs at your reaction. "Girl you gonna have a MAN!" "He's super cute." You laugh and she does too. You feel your heart rate calm down a little bit and you see the two boys about to round a corner. The one named Colby turns around one last time and sees you looking. He waves and you wave back and smile. You see him laugh and turn to his friend and you know he's talking about you. TIME SKIP TO LATER THAT NIGHT You take off your makeup and put on your pajamas. Ever since you'd met him, that Colby, you'd been wondering about him. He seemed nice, and you had to admit that he was extremely cute. He hadn't texted or called you yet, and just as you started asking yourself whether he really did want to talk to you, you hear a ping. You practically run to your phone and pick it up. It's a text from an unknown number. It says hey, this is Colby from the mall today. do you wanna FaceTime?? You respond with sure haha but i don't have my makeup on anymore You change the contact name to colby from the mall and he texts back.
Colby: i bet you're still just as beautiful as when i saw you earlier. don't worry about it You chuckle and press the FaceTime icon. He picks up in a couple seconds with a smile on his face. "Heyyy, what's up!" "Not much, what about you?" "Nothing here either." You both get into talking about your day and what you did/bought at the mall. Him and his friend, who you learn is named Sam, we're out shopping for Sam's girlfriend. They bought her a bunch of stuff since it was going to be her birthday soon. Sam waves and points at Colby. "He's been gushing over you all day. When he first saw you, he grabbed my arm and was like 'DUDE...', I told him to stop being a sissy and go ask for your number." At this you laugh. You see Colby blushing and he leans back to whisper something to Sam. "What did he just say!?" "He said he thinks your laugh is adorable." Colby's face gets even redder and you laugh again. You guys get into talking about YouTube and what you did on it. They explore abandoned places and do haunted things and you're a beauty vlogger. You end up talking to him for a couple hours, and you start to develop a crush on him. He's funny, sweet, and really cute and chill. At the end of the call, you say bye to Sam and then to Colby, who doesn't seem to want to hang up. You fall asleep with a slight feeling of butterflies in your chest as you think about the boy from the mall.

if you requested before i posted this announcement, i'll write and post yours. i'm only finishing the ones i have right now because there's so many lol so until further notice, i won't be taking anymore requests on these imagines
THAT BEING SAID the requests will re-open when i finish all the current ones, so this isn't the end of requests altogether i promise. i just need time to work on the many i have and then i will continue with taking you guys' requests after that (i'm not sure when I'll re open the requests, but keep a lookout for another announcement in the near future haha)
