"Ethan," it didn't help that saying his name to make him stop sounded more like a breathless plea for more. So I said his name again, this time, I forced his name out. "Ethan stop."

He did as I requested, but he didn't move away, and that was bad, if not worse. Now my skin was tingling with the paused caress of lips, anticipating him to ignore me and continue what he had been doing. I knew I would be in trouble if he started again I could feel the control slipping away, so I pushed against his chest, hard, knowing that if I was gentle, we wouldn't move.

Fortunately, and unfortunately, he stepped back, his deep eyes boring into mine, telling me that stopping was the last thing he wanted to do, but that he also respected my wishes. "You want to leave?"

"Yes," my answer made him sigh and run a hand through his hair, I very pointedly refused to watch the muscles in his arm bulge with the movement. "I want to go home, Ethan. I want to see my family."

He nodded, but it wasn't a happy nod. "My family will want to see me too."

I froze at that, was he talking about leaving me? The rejection of that idea sang through my veins like a lightening strike. "I guess they will."

"We will see your family," he said, making me freeze al over again at the mention of "we". "Then mine we will go see mine."

I didn't realise that I had leapt forward to wrap my arms around his waist until I felt solid muscles pressing against my face. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I think I was saying thank you because he agreed a lot easier than I had thought he would, that and that he wanted to stay with me. Unlike me, I now knew that Ethan had no problems with speaking his mind, of course, we were going to have fights about that because he was so demanding, but in this moment, his confidence made me grin.

His arms wrapped around me and a strange sensation filled me. Home is where the heart is. In that moment, my heart had his arms wrapped around me, nuzzling into my hair. "Thank you."
