Hello, Lovelies,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Thank you for joining me and thank you for all of your support for my books. It means a lot to me because there was a time when I worried that I would never have readers. As you've probably heard me say, a book isn't finished until someone enjoys it. That is how I've always felt. For those who have told me they enjoy my books, you don't know what that does for my soul.
News: For the readers of Beautiful Darkness, I will be posting a chapter tomorrow. Also, I am done self-editing Sparked and have begun to self-edit Burned. There are some plot holes and grammar that I want to fix as well as some better descriptions that need to be written. So, hopefully, it will be a smoother, better read.
Thank you again so much. I hope you enjoy this chapter. If you do, please consider changing that star's color. Comments are deeply appreciated. I read every one and honestly, they keep me going. If you have a question, comment or leave me a message.
-XXXX Amanda
I dedicate this chapter to @Shru2005 You have no idea how much you helped me get through a very bad week last week. Thank you for always supporting me and pushing me forward. You are a wonderful friend.

Hurt and anger had never been a good mixture for me, yet Jonathon had invoked both with his entrance. If he thought he could ignore me for two weeks and then, come back to boss me around, he was wrong.
"Izzie," he said, causing me to stop because no matter how angry I was at him, I couldn't ignore him for long. My soul called for him obviously more than his called for mine.
"What do you want, Jonathon?" I asked, my anger seeping from me.
"You can't go," he said, his voice pleading, "It's too dangerous with the church members still out there."
"Did the others send you to talk to me because they thought I would listen to you?" I asked, steeling myself to face him while keeping my anger because that was the only way I would be able to save Daniella.
"No," he said as I turned to him but no matter how much I tried to prepare myself, seeing him sent a pang straight through my heart, "I came on my own."
"Well, you shouldn't have if all you were going to do is prevent from saving not only a witch but the only blood family I have left," I said, raising my chin, "I would rather you go back to ignoring me, Jonathon."
He winced, "I wasn't-"
"Save it," I said, waving him off and heading for the stairs.
"Damn it, Izzie," he said, moving toward me, grabbing my arm, "I'm not going to let you go out there with those psychos waiting to grab you."
I gave him a mirthless laugh, "You're not going to let me," I said, the anger and hurt twisting through me, "You can't stop me."
A ball of fire flickered to life in my hand and his eyes narrowed on it, "You're going to hurt me?" he asked, his nostrils flaring as his breaths quickened, "Go ahead, Izzie but even if you're able to, I will fight to keep you safe."
"Why, Jonathon?" I asked, daring him to claim me instead of the other way around but I knew he couldn't without breaking a pact set between the original coven and the vampires as conditions of the spell that would eventually destroy the church.
"You know why," he said, his eyes blazing with so much ferocity that it shot heat straight through me.
My heart trembled and though I wanted to claim him as my soulmate, his avoidance of me made me doubt his feelings. Yes, we were bound but it didn't mean he cared about me...Not the way Bastian did Lanie. It didn't mean he loved me. If he did, I wanted him to prove it.
