Hello, My Lovelies,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday. Thank you so much for reading Singed. It means more than you will ever know. For everyone who has voted and commented and saved my books to their libraries, thank you for pushing to write. You are wonderful. I couldn't ask for better readers.
News: I have finished self-editing Burned so if you read it now, it should be a smoother read. I do hope to eventually have it professionally edited and for it to become a paperback. I will be editing Twisted Souls which I finished writing last week. I also finished Dirty Little Secrets and Tuesday I will be finishing Iced which is amazing to me. I have been writing on Wattpad for eight months and in that time, finishing five books is phenomenal. I told you that you push me to write. Thank you so much. Also, I have started the sequel to Twisted Souls. It's called Twisted Minds and the Prologue and first chapter are up.
I do hope that you enjoy this chapter. If you do, please consider voting. Comments are appreciated. If you have questions, comment or leave a message.
-XXXX Amanda

Though my eyes were heavy, they were immediately drawn to Jonathon as he stepped out of the bathroom. Instantly, my mouth dried as I took in his shirtless, perfectly muscled torso before sliding over his rippling abdomen to his blue pajama pants that hung entirely too low on his hips making my imagination fly straight into the gutter. I shook my head, wincing in pain before lifting my eyes to his, finding him staring at me with a raised brow.
Damn, I had been busted staring at him...Still, I raised my chin, pretending that I hadn't been ogling him a moment before, "Do you have anything for a headache?" I asked, frowning as I touched the knot on my head, grimacing.
"I have some pills that Lanie gave me since she doesn't need them anymore," he said, narrowing his gaze in challenge as he picked them up off the dresser.
"She's a vampire," I said with a shrug, "She won't get pesky mortal illnesses anymore."
"Even before that, she would rarely need it," he said, pursing his lips and causing me to follow the motion as he handed me the pills, "Bastian would heal her with his blood. It's one of the benefits of having a...perfect partner."
"Yes, Bastian is the perfect partner," I said, causing Jonathon's eyes to narrow in jealousy as I swallowed the pills.
"Too bad you don't have one right now," he said, gritting his teeth as he glanced away from me.
"Yes, too bad," I said, feeling hurt all over again, "It would have been nice to have that partner around right after I was almost burned at the stake."
He flinched and I looked away from him as he spoke, his voice dripping with sadness, "Maybe the guilt would have made it hard to face you, knowing he almost failed."
I swallowed, "He would have only failed the moment he abandoned me, leaving me to wonder why," I said, meeting his gaze, "It would make it hard to believe that the love he feels isn't simply a bond made by a coven of witches. At least, I can see that Bastian loves Lanie and it wasn't only caused by a spell."
"So, your partner has to prove his love is real?" He asked, wiping his hand down his face, "What do you want him to do die for you? Because I'm sure he would."
"No, because that's the worst type of abandonment," I said, my heart aching with the thought of Jonathon dying. I turned to my side facing away from him closing my eyes not wanting him to see the heartache he caused by suggesting his death, "Could you turn off the light? It's hurting my head."
