Hello, Lovelies,

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday.  I truly appreciate and thank you for joining me.  I can't tell you how much it means to me.  Thank you for being patient with me while I get used to the schedule change to adjust around my children's school.

News: For those who have read Sparked, I am working on a trailer.  It will take a while but I am also putting video clips up at the beginning of the chapters.  For now, there is one at the beginning of the Prologue and Chapter one.

I do hope you like this chapter.  If you do, please consider voting.  Comments are appreciated.  If you have questions, comment or send me a message.

"Are you feeling okay?" Jonathon asked, cupping my cheek after my shower. His eyes were dark with worry as he peered into my eyes.

"I'm not going to lie to you Jonathon," I said, tiredly, "I feel weak but I'll make it until tonight. For now, I would like to meet Mercy and then, get Lanie and Bastian and open that book."

His lips brushed mine, "Just don't overexert yourself," he said, shaking his head, "You have a tendency to do that."

"I really must worry you," I said, smiling.

"Worry is an understatement," he said, raising his brow, "You terrify me."

"Maybe I won't terrify you so much after tonight," I said, smiling sweetly.

"Or you'll terrify me more," he said, raising his brow, "It depends on what the blood bond does to you."

"What do you mean?" I asked, frowning, "Lanie said it was painful."

"Because she was that close to death," he said into my ear, "Her blood was already mostly drained because of her wound. Bastian got very little of her...essence. If she had more blood, she might have been overcome in a very different way."

"Are you saying she would have been horny?" I asked, causing Jonathon's eyes to blaze.

"Your blunt nature is endearing," he said and then, whispered in my ear, "So, let's use it to answer the question...What are you going to do if you end up with that particular side effect?"

I grinned moving close to him before taking his ear lobe between his teeth and biting it gently causing a moan to break from between his lips before whispering, "I guess you'll have to bite me to find out."

I moved out of his arms toward the door before he pulled me against him by the waist. His breath tickled the side of my neck before I felt his teeth scrape against the sensitive flesh there.

He grinned against my skin as a shiver ran through me, "I'm looking forward to being enlightened."

He let me go and walked to the door opening it, "Come on," he said with a sparkle in his green eyes, "Let's go talk to Mercy and open that damn book."

"You seem eager," I said, giggling.

"Oh...Izzie," he said, gripping my hand in his, "You have no idea."

I smiled as our banter pushed away all my fear. Instead, I was looking forward to spending the rest of eternity beside Jonathon.

Mercy was completely healed by the time we met her in her room. Her hair was no longer a tangled mess but hung down her back in red-tinted brown waves. Her wide green eyes shined out from her pretty face. Skin that had been blackened by flames was now smooth and peach tinted.
