I fell into darkness with my heart broken. The memory of Bethany and Dimitri before he began his descent firmly in my mind. I opened my eyes as images flickered to life before me.

Dimitri laying on his bed as gashes appeared on his arm. Bethany's tears mixing with his blood. The scene shifted as she leaned forward and whispered her love for him before claiming him as her mate. Bethany facing Margaret in her true form as she burst into the room. A flash of red light and Bethany on the floor with blood dripping from between her lips. Dimitri awakening as Margaret vanished. Dimitri's cry of anguish as he moved to Bethany, crying over her still body as he pulled her into his arms.

I sat up in bed, trembling. Jonathon wrapped me in his arms, "Iz?" He asked, my name trembling from his lips, "What is it?"

I took a shaky breath, "A bad dream," I whispered shaking my head, knowing it was more than that. It was a dream of the future...A future I needed to prevent.

"Iz, was it just a bad dream?" He asked, frowning.

I shook my head as a tear fell from my eyes, "Dimitri will finish the trials," I said, taking a deep breath, "But I think I saw Margaret kill Bethany."

Jonathon paled, but he tightened his embrace and took a deep breath, "But if you had the dream, there is a way to stop that from happening."

I nodded, "I just hope that Bethany won't do anything rash until then," I said, swallowing.

"We'll make a plan and I will help you," Jonathon said, kissing my temple, "I will always help you."

I forced a small smile, "I know you will."

He pulled me against him, calming me with his presence. I closed my eyes grateful that I had my soulmate with me. I could only hope Dimitri and Bethany would have the same fate.
