Hello, Lovelies,
I hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday. Thank you for reading Singed. I hope you are enjoying it.
News: I am in the Grudge Contest. If you want to check out my submission, it's on my profile. It's called Welcome Home. Also, I want to thank those who have read my Nano project Jaded. I truly appreciate all of you. Sparked is still going through self-editing. When it is finished, it will be going through professional editing. After that, Burned will be going through the same process.
I truly hope you enjoy this chapter. If you do, turning the star orange lets me know. Comments are appreciated and if you have questions, comment or send me a message.

Gilliam arrived first with Rachel. A red wig covered her blue pixie cut hair as she stepped into the living room. Lanie and I hugged her as she rolled her hazel eyes.
"Chicks if I had known why you left, I would have run after you and insisted on following," she said, grinning, "Not only did I lose the only two people I could stand at the school but that psycho church leader came after me trying to burn me."
"How did you get away from her?" I asked, raising my brows.
"I don't know," she said shaking her head, "I put out my hand and the wind blew so strong it caused a tree to fall between us. I was able to run away. Then, I started having dreams. I think she killed my asshole parents."
I nodded understanding why Rachel wasn't upset over her parents death. Abuse didn't even begin to describe what they had done to her. Her eyes moved over the room, her gaze settling on Veil. Relief settled over his face and I knew without asking that he'd found the soulmate he had been disappointed in not finding when he arrived in the house.
She shook her head, "Thankfully, an ancestor was decent enough to give me the what's up in my dreams," she said with a shrug, "I almost didn't believe them but then, crazy pastor lady went all burn the witch on me."
"Who is your ancestor?" Jonathon asked, raising his brow.
"Lucinda," She said, shrugging.
Jonathon nodded, "You act a lot like her."
"The awesomeness must have skipped a few generations," She said, rolling her eyes, "Because my grandparents and parents were fucking awful."
Jonathon leaned toward me, "Is she always this energetic?"
I nodded, "And impulsive which could be a good or bad thing."
"Veil is going to have his work cut out for him," Jonathon whispered in my ear, causing me to grin because he was right. If everyone thought Gilliam's firebug tendencies were hard to deal with, they were in for a ride with Rachel's rebellious and independent nature.
"So, everyone here are witches and vampires, right?" Rachel asked unconsciously standing next to Veil, who seemed amused by everything she said.
"Or both," Lanie said, raising her eyebrows.
"Who is both?" Rachel asked, glancing from me to Lanie and narrowed her eyes, "So you two got the love bite, huh? You'll have to tell me the details on that. They were naughty right? Please say they were naughty."
"I almost died, Lanie said, glancing toward me, "And so did Izzie."
"Boo...Boring," Rachel said, causing me to put my hand over my eyes and shake my head. There was no way I was telling Rachel about my sex life. She would blast it over the whole house.
