The weekend is ending, all I've done is study and do homework. Since my arm is broken, I can't even do any physical activity. Which means I have to find other ways to release stress.
"Hello?"
Mom? Is that you?
"Yes"
You're not mom. Wait, that sounds like... THEO!
"Hey sis. Uh wow, tight hug."
I might regret this later but I missed you.
"Obviously. Did you really think me moving out would make anyone happy. I'm Theo."
I knew I'd regret it.
"Hey!"
Just kidding. What are you doing here. I bet you missed me.
"No, gross."
Theo!
"Okay, stop hitting me! Maybe I did miss you a little but I came home to pick up some of my stuff that I forgot."
You could've asked Mom to bring them to you.
"It's fine. I wanted to come home anyway."
Is everything okay?
"Yeah everything's fine, actually it's great."
How's College?
"College is awesome. I'm having so much fun."
But...
"But what?"
You don't really look like you've been having fun.
"It's been stressful but mostly it's been great."
If you say so.
"Enough about me. How has school been for you?"
It's definitely quiet without Maddie.
"Where is she?"
She's doing the exchange program.
"Oh thank God!"
Theo?
"What? It means I can come home without being stared at."
It's not that bad...
"Zara"
Okay so maybe she stares at you way to much and gets a little star stuck when she sees you but she's not obsessed with you.
"Are you sure about that?"
Yes, plus she hardly ever talks about you now.
"Ouch, is it something I did."
Did you want her to talk about you?
"No but it did feel nice to be appreciated"
Can you say anything nice about her?
"Aside from the staring, she's been a great friend to you. She's a bit weird when she sees me but then again who doesn't . I know her heart is in the right place."
I'll let her know that.
"Zara, please don't. What if she like gets the wrong idea."
Okay I won't tell her. Or will I?

You should've seen the..... look on your face.
"What just happened?"
What do you mean?
"We were just laughing and now you look mopey"
I do not!
"Come on, you can tell me"

"Is it school?"
No, school's been fine. A little overwhelming but fine.
"It's only your second year, just take it easy."
You know what mom said about my grades.
"And I know that Mom doesn't just want you to crash and burn so take a break. You've been though a lot these past 3 years."
I know that I just want to keep up with everything.
"And you will."
By the way, what stuff did you forget?
"You know...things"
Things like?
"Pencil, pen.... err"
You actually didn't forget anything, did you?
"Okay, you got me. Is it a crime to just visit my annoying sister."
Haha. I knew you missed me.
"As much as I miss you and Mom, I do have to go back now."
This fast?
"You know that college life."
No I don't but I get what you mean. When do I get to visit you?
"Maybe not now. I still have to get settled."

"Bye, sis"

I can't help thinking Theo's not telling me the truth.

This wasn't the same person that left to go to college. He seemed on edge. Like he was hiding something. Obviously, he didn't want anyone to know but I ... know him better than that. I could sense something was wrong but I chose to not say anything..... but now I wish I did. I didn't hear from him for a while and didn't think anything of it.

I got distracted by my own issues and I blindsided everything ...
