Today it suddenly hit me that Becks and I were a wall full of secrets. We weren't transparent to each other - we both thought that we could read each other easier than the top line of the optician's alphbet - but we couldn't.
We both hid a lot.
I choked when our English teacher asked me how the project was going - I told him that he was cruel for including that. He apologised and said that I could leave that part out if I wanted to.
I told him that it was too late.
Because it was too late for a lot of things - and one of those things was preventing my heart from whatever torture chamber it was currently locked in.
Isn't it funny how we only realise things after?
