The door bell rang early in the morning, and Gabriel went to open the door. Once he did, he found Chloe there, and he glared at her, but let her in anyway.
"I did a good job, you have to admit it!" Chloe smirked. "Marinette and Adrien are ok good terms, Marinette doesn't suspect a thing. So, when does this end and when do I get my prize?!"
Gabriel rolled his eyes. "You might think you succeeded, but in my eyes, you're a failure!"
"What?!" Chloe was confused at his words. "But I did exactly what you told me to do."
"You made them get to close to each other that Adrien told Marinette the secret!" Gabriel growled. "She was never supposed to know the secret."
"Oh, I'm sorry, but how is that my fault?!" Chloe shot back, folding her arms in full annoyance. "You told me to do this and I did. I did it perfectly! You never said anything about not making them be so close to each other that he releases the secret!"
"I'm going to have to ask you to leave," Gabriel turned away from her. "Like I said; you're a failure!"
Chloe widened her eyes. "You can't do that!!" She screamed, pointing a finger at him. "Do you know who I am?! Yeah, I'm the Mayor's daughter. We made a deal, and you have to keep your promise, or else I'll get my Daddy to deal with you!!"
Chloe's loud voice got Marinette and Adrien to hear. Marinette stood up and started heading for the door, Adrien following. She opened the bedroom door and both of them started walking downstairs, seeing Chloe and Gabriel together in the living room.
Chloe had her mouth hung opened once she saw Marinette and Adrien together. "You were in his room. Why were you in his room?! I should be with him. That was the deal!!!"
"Why can't I be in his room?" Marinette rolled her eyes as she stepped down from the last step. "I'm his girlfriend anyways."
"What?!" Chloe yelled. She swung her head to face Gabriel. "You. Promised. Me!!" She had such hatred in her eyes, her face red; it looked like she was about to explode from too much rage.
"Chloe, I'll tell you why you never got what you wanted," Adrien glared at Chloe, then turned to Gabriel and sent him a glare as well. "He was lying. Simple as that. I was never going to get together with you at the end."
"What?" Marinette frowned. "I'm sorry, but Chloe is also a part of this? She knows everything?! Adrien, did Chloe know about all this before me?! And what kind of a deal?"
"Listen Marinette, I know you might have so many questions, but I promise I'll answer them later on," Adrien spoke. "And besides, I wasn't the one to make the deal with Chloe. Gabriel did, and only did that to get Chloe to work for him."
Chloe looked over at Gabriel with teary eyes. "You lied to me? Ugh!! All you Agreste's brains are filled with nothing but stupidity. I mean, come on, Adrien, you're stupid to pick Marinette over me! And come on, you! You're stupid to even think about lying to me just so I could work for you!"
Marinette sighed and grabbed Adrien's arm, pulling him towards the front door. "We wish we both could stay and chat, but this room reeks of annoying brats!"
She opened the door and pulled Adrien outside, closing the door right behind her.
"Where are we going?" Adrien asked as he followed Marinette.
"We're going to get breakfast from my bakery," Marinette spoke. "When we get there," She turned to him with a serious look of her face. "You're going to tell me everything!"
