He held up the key and looked at it. Then he turned to the door.

If Mom finds out I did this, she's probably going to be mad at me. But it's her fault, right? Because she doesn't want to tell me.

But what if it's something personal? What if it's something I shouldn't know of? What should I do?

Shut up, Adrien. You know you want to so bad know what your mother has been hiding!

You know you want to so bad know why your mother hates Marinette is bad, and why you can't kiss her.

You know you want to unlock the door so bad, step I side, and find the big secret!

So, just do it!

Finally, the moment he had been waiting for. He unlocked the door and stepped inside.

Inside the dark room, he looked around, and then turned on the light. He looked around the room again. There were pictures.

Lots of pictures.

He walked deeper into the room, taking a look at all the pictures. There were pictures of him and Emilie. Even some pictures the faces of Gabriel and Nathalie.

Seeing those two reminded him why he came here. He needed to know why they left the family, why they abandoned them.

He searched around everywhere he could. In the drawers, in some of her bags. He made sure not to go through her personal things as well.

He then checked under the pillow. A picture frame of them all was there. There was Emilie, holding Gabriel's hand. Then Nathalie stood behind Gabriel, and Adrien was young at that moment. He stood in front of them, looking at the camera, smiling widely.

He remembered that day. Why did Emilie keep so many pictures of them when thru were the ones to abandon them? Did she miss them?

Of course she would. They were family. But if Nathalie and Gabriel really cared, they would have been with them, and stood strong.

When he saw that nothing else was under the pillows, he finally checked under the bed.

Kneeling down, he looked. An envelope was there. He reached out and grabbed it.

It's some...letter?

He opened it anyways and read.

To: The Agreste Family

I'm sorry, but you really have such a rude husband/father. I have placed this curse on all of you so you can be able to learn your lessons.

Teach that man some manners! He doesn't have the right to be rude to others. If he didn't want to help me, he should said so nicely.

I'm sorry this was brought upon all of you, because of this man. But the curse is here, and you must learn all your lessons.

The curse- if you kiss anyone on the lips, at midnight, you are to turn into a cat. In the morning, you will turn back to your proper human self's, but every midnight you will turn into a cat, until you kiss the one you kissed before as a cat.

There is a way to end this curse, but for you to do that, you must find a very special young girl, that goes by the name of...

Marinette Dupain-Cheng!

From: The Woman

Adrien gasped and dropped the letter.

Curse? That's the same curse that Mom mentioned before.

And it also says... If you kiss a person, you turn into a cat...

But.. I... I... I've already done it!

And what has Marinette got to do with this? Is this why Mom hates her so much that she wouldn't allow us together?

Or is it actually because of the curse?

So this is why Dad and Nathalie left. It wasn't my fault after all!

"ADRIEN! What are you doing in here?!"

Adrien turned around, only to he face-to-face with his mother.
