"M-Marinette?"

Marinette dragged Adrien out of the mansion, looked around, and when the coast was clear, she turned back to Adrien, who was confused.

"You're... going to transform into a cat in 2 minutes, right?" She asked, and he nodded, so she continued. "Well... I know what I have to do, so when you turn into a cat, I'll be here, ready."

Adrien couldn't believe what he was hearing. "You're going to...?"

Marinette nodded.

The 2 minutes passed, and light surrounded Adrien. Marinette backed away as Adrien transformed into a cat. She still felt weird, knowing that the cat that had been visiting her, the cat she had always talked to...had been Adrien all along. "So, you ready?"

Adrien nodded his head, and Marinette bent down to the height of the cat. She leaned closer to his cat face and pressed her lips lightly on Adrien's, before quickly pulling away. The light surrounded Adrien again, making Marinette back away.

Once Marinette could see Adrien's normal face again, she turned away. "I gotta go."

"Wait!" Adrien quickly grabbed her arm before she could walk away. He had imagined having Marinette break the curse, but he never knew and never wanted it to be like this. "How did you...know about what to do?"

Marinette sighed and faced Adrien again. "I... got a note of some sort, telling me about how to break the curse on you..." She looked away, turning to the ground. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I just... I don't know. I thought you would leave, and I didn't want you to," Adrien couldn't look at her either, and instead turned to the ground as well. "I wanted to tell you, but chickened out, because I was afraid of what you would think of me after that."

"Adrien, I... I overheard your father telling Chloe that after all this, you two would end up together, that's why I was too afraid to approach you...because I never wanted it to end," Marinette took a deep breath. "But then later on, I found out it was just a deal Gabriel made with Chloe, so... so I came here."

"I would never leave you for her. Most definitely not," Adrien smiled, making Marinette look up at him again.

"Adrien, your...I...your father has to live with this curse forever, unless he finds a way to make up for it. As for you...your curse is broken forever, but that doesn't mean you can go kissing whoever you want," Marinette folded her arms. "We're still...together. Right?"

"Right!" Marinette got pulled into a hug before she could step back.

"Alright, alright," Marinette laughed. "It's still the middle of the night, and I'm pretty tired."

Adrien smiled and opened the door. "Well, why don't you stay here for the night? You don't want to go walking back to you bakery, right?"

Marinette walked up to the door. "Well, the bakery isn't that far away, but sure, I can stay."

Whey the both of them stepped inside, Gabriel was sitting on the couch in the living room. When the door closed behind Adrien, Gabriel quickly looked up, surprised to see the two together. He smiled as he started walking up to them.

"Hey, I see you two are back together." Maybe Chloe actually did as she promised, fixed the problem and got them back together. I knew she could do it. She's definitely going to get her reward, no matter how hard it gets.

Adrien rolled his eyes. "You only want us together so you can stop your stupid curse!"

"Adrien!" Gabriel was surprised that Adrien said it out loud, especially in front of Marinette. The thing was, Marinette didn't get confused or curious or any of that.

"Oh, don't worry," Marinette smirked. "I already know about it." Adrien took her arm again, and the both went upstairs to Adrien's room, Adrien closing the door. Gabriel was left downstairs, wondering what had just happened.
