Emilie sat down on the couch, breathing heavily. Why couldn't things juts go her way? If the curse hadn't come into her life, then she wouldn't be pushing Marinette away.

Then she heard a knock from the door. Well, it was more like a bang, and she stood up from the couch to go see what was up. OPening the door, she looked outside, and was quite surprised to see who was there.

"G-Gabriel?"

Gabriel looked uo at her then nodded. "I've thought about it, and I've decided to help you pathetic brats in stopping that curse. If that girl is the way to stop it, then we're getting her!"

Emilie quickly nodded. "Why don't you come in?"

Gabriel hesitated, but walked inside. He took a seat on the couch and looked around. "Where's Adrien?"

"He's with Marinette," Emilie replied.

"Why?" Gabriel turned to her as Emilie took a srat across from him. "Are they close?"

Emilie sighed. "Yes, I guess. I've been trying to separate them, but nothing is working."

Gabriel frowned. "Are you serious?!" He stood up, throwing his arms in the air. "Ypu shouldn't be doing that! That girl is the way to stop the curse, and I came up with a plan that we'll use Adrien to get close to her, but obviously he aleady has. Don't try to separate them, it's only msking this worse!"

"I..." Emilie didn't know what to say. She never knew Gvbriel would approve of those two.

"Listen, we'll get Adrien to get closer to her, then we'll try to find out how the heck that girl can help us. Adrien is perfect, he can get the answers we need."

Emilie nodded, not really sure if she should agree to this. "So, what do we do first?"

"Nothing much. We just tell Adrien to try to find answrs for us. Adrien will do the rest for us." Gabriel chuckled at the great idea he had in his head. "It won't be long now."

The thought of Adrien's mother trying to separate them was still stuck in her head as Marinette grabbed her books from her locker. When she turned to head to her first class, she saw Luka walking up to her.

"Hey Luka, what are you doing here?"

Luka held up a phone and handed it to her. "You forgot your phone over at my place." He made sure he said it loud enough for Adrien to hear, who clenched his fists.

"Oh, thank you." Marinette took her phone and put it in her pocket.

"What's up with you? You don't look too good," Luka pointed out.

Marinette didn't say anything, knowing this was a conversation to have with Adrien and not Luka. She just shrugged and started walking back to class.

"It's you!" Luka pointed at Adrien, who looked back at him, confuesed. "You've been stressing her out, haven't you?"

"I have not!" Adrien replied, folding his arms, but secretly hoping he wasn't actually stressing her out. "Maybe you have!"

"Listen, just leave her alone. Besides if you hjaven't been stressing her out, then why didn't she talk to you at all?" Luka huffed, and before Adrien could say anything to that, he walked away.

What was even this guy's problem?

Making a plan to talk to Marinette about it, he headed to class. Just as he sat down on his seat, his phone dinged. He took it out, hoping it was Marinette texting him, but finding it being his mom instead.

The teacher hadn't come inside the class yet, so he quickly checked the message.

Emilie - Come back home early at luchtime today. I have an importan thing for you to do.

Adrien - Okay, I got it.

Before he could put his phone away, it dinged again, and this time, as he expected, it was from Marinette.

Marinette - I have to talk to you.

Marinette - After school!
