"Chloe?!" Emilie yelled. "Why her?! And why did she even agree? I heard she liked Adrien. And... And... Chloe doesn't know about the whole cat thing, does she?"

Gabriel rolled his eyes. "I'll tell you everything later on. Stop worrying, I can handle this."

The memory of how Chloe got to be his spy came in his head; how it had went perfectly great, how Chloe had agreed so easily.

"So, Mr. Agreste, why did you ask me to come here?" Chloe looked around. "Is... Is Adrien home?"

Gabriel looked up at her. "I can see that you love my son, Adrien."

"Yes, and I would totally get him, but that brat, Marinette is totally in my way!!" Chloe exclaimed, getting pissed off. "Can you believe it?! She probably told Adrien lies about me, and that's why Adrien hates me so much."

Gabriel chuckled. "Well, guess what?"

Chloe shook her head. "What?"

"I have a very important task I want you to do. You love Adrien, so you obviously follow him everywhere." Gabriel said. "I want you to spy on Adrien and Marinette."

"Why?"

"Because! Anyway I want you to make sure that Adrien and Marinette get along with each other together, that their relationship is going strong, and that Marinette isn't suspicious of him."

Chloe balled her fists. "Why me?! Why would I do that?! I literally just told you my crush on Adrien and you..."

Gabriel smirked. "You didn't let me finish. You see, Adrien doesn't really love Marinette," He said. "He's just using her. There's this problem going on, and only Marinette can fix it, so Adrien is pretending to love her so he can get her to fix the problem."

"R-really?" Chloe widened her eyes.

"Yes, in fact, he hates her. He's just pretending to like her."

"How do you know all that?"

Gabriel chuckled. "Oh please. I'm his father, he tells me everything. Now, here's the good news. Adrien told me not to tell you, but I think you deserve to know."

"What is it?"

"Adrien actually likes you. See, he's pretending to hate you for two reasons. 1) He had to convince Marinette that he really likes her, and because Marinette hates you, he also has to pretend to hate you. 2) He doesn't really know how to confront girls. The reason why he runs out on you is because he's got such a deep crush that he doesn't know what to do."

Chloe couldn't believe her ears. "Seriously, he is?"

Gabriel nodded. "Now, if you help me spy on Adrien and Marinette, I'll give you a prize. I'll make sure you and Adrien get together when the problem is solved."

Chloe wanted to jump and down in excitement, but decided to stay calm. "Alright, Mr. Agreste, I'll do it. You better keep your promise, and I'll make sure Adrien succeeds."

"Good."

Gabriel chuckled for the 100th time, before he headed upstairs.

The scratches she'd been waiting for, Marinette finally heard it. She went to the front door and opened it, letting the cat in.

"Hey," She smiled at the cat. "You didn't come yesterday night and me and Tiki miss you so much."

Tiki walked up to Adrien, meowing on the way. Marinette picked the both of them up and headed to her room.

Adrien the cat looked around the room as if it was the first time being here. Marinette got on her her bed and sighed.

"These days I never sleep when I want to. I'm so glad you two are keeping me company."

Adrien bobbed his head up and down, nodding. He was about to climb on the bed when he noticed something.

A piece of paper under the bed.
