Adrien has just took off from home, after having this huge fight with his parents, about how he should work faster in getting then out of the curse. He would have went straight to the bakery, where Marinette probably was, but he hadn't. He wasn't quite ready to see her yet. She probably didn't even want to see him.
He had been walking, completely forgetting about how he turned into a cat at night. He took out his phone and checked the time, widening his eyes once he found out what it was.
People were around, even at night. If he tried to make it back to his mansion, or back to the bakery; he wouldn't be able to make it to any of those places without releasing his cat form, and a bunch of people were around.
So he started running to a nearby alley. Once he was almost there, he took a turn, not knowing that someone had started following him.
There were no one around when he got there, so resting against a wall, he released into his cat form, getting ready to go meet up with Marinette.
Once he started to move though, he realized two huge feet were stand-in in front of him, and once he looked up, it was Marinette looking down on him.
"Ad-Adrien?" Marinette wasn't sure on what to think. Was this the secret Adrien had been keeping from her? Was this the secret Adrien couldn't bring himself to saying.
The cat stood frozen, not moving one bit. For a few seconds of silence, Marinette and the cat stared at each other, as if having a staring contest.
Then she turned and left.

Adrien had been ignoring Marinette ever since she found out. It had been two days since they hadn't spoke to each other; not only did Adrien not know how to confront her, but Marinette didn't want to talk.
Adrien came back from school, feeling down as always at how he had to ignore his own girlfriend. He didn't even know where they stood at this moment. Once he reached home, Gabriel quickly walked up to him.
"So, how are you and Marinette doing?" He folded his arms as he waited for his son's reply. Adrien didn't answer, so Gabriel repeated his question. "I asked, how are you doing with her?! Have you found out anything?"
Adrien ignored him out of anger. He had a few reasons why all this was Gabriel's fault, but he also had reasons for why it was his own fault. He faced the other and stormed upstairs, leaving Gabriel confused. Gabriel quickly got the idea that Adrien wasn't doing so well with Marinette, so he decided to give someone a call.
"Hello," Chloe's voice spoke up. "Any problem?"
Adrien got out of his room quietly to grab a drink of water from the kitchen downstairs, but Gabriel's conversation made him stop before he could even walk down the stairs.
"Chloe, Adrien is doing horrible! I hope you haven't forgotten the deal I made with you. Get Adrien and Marinette together, and after all this, Adrien will be together with you!"
"I know, I know," Chloe sighed on the other end. "But it's hard. Marinette doesn't even want to speak to him. None of them are speaking to each other. I'll try, besides I get a great prize at the end."
"You better!" Gabriel angrily exclaimed, before he hanged up and groaned.
"Seriously?" Adrien spoke, startling Gabriel. "You made a deal with Chloe, and told her I would end up with her?"
"Adrien, I-"
Adrien couldn't be more angrier. "I knew you only came back to cause trouble! You're trying to ruin our lives. Why don't you just leave and live yours?!" He turned back and raced inside his room, banging the door really hard at the end. He couldn't believe what was happening.

It was the middle of the night, and the doorbell was ringing like crazy. The doorbell rang 5 times, before Adrien got off his bed and opened the door. Once he opened it, he was a bit surprised on who it was outside.
"M-Marinette?"
