Maddie

"i have a meeting today, do you wanna come?" Billie asked me and of course i wouldn't decline
"of course i'll come" i said and she smiled at me.
"we will leave in 30 minutes," she said and picked up her phone
"okay i'll go get ready," i replied and exited the room.
it's 12:30am now so we are leaving at 1:00.
i showered, straightened my hair, brushed my teeth and get dressed.
after i got ready, i entered the lounge room and Billie wasn't there.
i went to my room, she wasn't there.
i went to the kitchen and she was on the phone, it sounded like she was speaking with Finneas about the meeting.
i pretended i was doing something so i grabbed a cup and went to the fridge and pulled out some orange juice.
"i'll see you in 20, love you Finn!" she said and hung up.
i drank some orange juice and soon came to my senses. i just brushed my teeth, i gagged and ran to the sink.
"woah woah woah what are you doin' baby," Billie said laughing.
"i just brushed my teeth," i said and she laughed even harder.
"looks like i'll finish this drink then," she said and skulled it down.
"you ready to go?" i said to her raising an eyebrow.
"yes, let's go, mama," she said grabbing her keys, we went out to the car and jumped in.
the drive was roughly 15 minutes and we were talking about some new music Billie was going to release.
we entered the building Billies meetings was at and Finneas was already there.
we said hello to each other and went into the waiting room.
we walked in and Billies eyes lit up.
"omg, Maddie?!" Billie said toward a new girl i've never seen before.
"Billie!" the other girl said excitedly and they hugged
"i haven't seen you in forever, how are you angel!" Billie said still hugging her
Angel? she only calls me this...
Finneas and I exchanged looks and jealousy flooded over me. who was she?
"i'm doing so good!" the 'Maddie' girl said to Billie and they let go of each other.
i could see the lust in Maddie's eyes. i felt myself get angry by the second.
"Maddie, this is my girlfriend, Y/N," Billie said and i saw her face fall at the word 'girlfriend'
"nice to meet you," Maddie said looking and sounding uninterested in my presence, Finneas and i looked at each other again and he mouthed
"you'll be right" towards me, i nodded and sat down.
Billie and Maddie sat with each other talking about their lives and Billies fame. while it was just Finneas and I, i asked him some questions.
"Finn who is she?" i asked
"it's Billies manager, Steve's daughter." he said placing his phone on the table next to him.
"i already don't like her." i said blankly and Finneas laughed
"and either do i, Billie on the other hand," he said and we looked over at them, laughing and smiling at each other.
Maddie was subtly touching Billies arm and i felt like i was going to explode.
"i'm fine," i said to Finneas with a fake smile on.
he laughed and said
"the colour of your face and your expression is telling me a different story Y/N,"
"nope it's completely fine," i replied
then she touched her thigh and my leg started bouncing up and down.
i was so mad at the fact Billie didn't brush it off. she just let her go.
Maddie definitely had a crush on her, i wasn't letting her get any closer to Billie,
i went over to them and sat next to Billie, she threw her arm around me and i rested my head on her shoulder. Maddie gave me a dirty look but i didn't think anything of it. she was my girlfriend, why would she get jealous like this.
"what's up babygirl?" Billie said to me cutely.
"nothing babe," i said and kissed her cheek.
i saw Maddie's face drop at my gesture.
it figured it out. she liked Billie!
"you sure, you look-" she started
"i'm fine babe don't worry," i said and she kissed my lips.
a little longer passed and we were now in the meeting.
we were talking about a song that could potentially be released, and writing music, and all sorts of stuff.
i didn't pay a lot of attention since this had nothing to do with me but i tried to make sure Maddie didn't get to close to my girl.
We stood up and exited the meeting room.
I held Billies hand in mine and Maddie walked beside Billie the entire time.
"Billie, can you hang tonight?" Maddie asked her and Billie replies with.
"yeah i'm free, you can come to my house, Y/N will be there too." Maddie's face lit up, and soon dropped when my name was mentioned.
Billie swung me around and hugged me, i was walking backwards while Billie guided the way.
Maddie looked mad. i guess it is in her name... MADdie...
i looked up at Billie and smiled.
"yeah i'll be over." Maddie said bluntly and walked away.
"i'll see you lat-" Billie started but she was gone.
"damn okay," she said.
i stayed hugging her and thought.
should i tell her that i don't like Maddie? will she understand? will she get mad? will she leave me over it?
we got to Billies car and we got in.
i tried to wash my brain and think of other things.
but i just couldn't... seeing their body language together made me so mad.
"what's wrong babygirl?" Billie said worry in her tone.
"Nothing Billie i'm fine." i said harsher than i should've.
Billie kept her eyes on the road and stayed silent.
"i'm sorry Billie..." i said looking at her
"don't be." she said sternly
"it's just..." i started and didn't finish.
"don't worry, i'm sorry.." i said again
"quit apologising. it's fine." she said again looking at me this time.
we stayed in silence for a while then we got to Billies house.
we got out of the car and walked inside.
Maggie looked happy to see us
"hello girls!" she said and pulled us into tight hugs
"hi mom," Billie said and walked away
"what's wrong with Billie?" Maggie turned to me and asked
"i don't know Mags... it's nice to see you." i said and spun around to go to Billies room.
i walked into her red filled room and as i opened the door it spilt out.
i closed the door behind me and sat on the bed next to Billie.
i looked at her, she looked at me.
she stared into my eyes and i hugged her.
she hugged me back.
i didn't really know what was wrong. if it was me. but i'll be here for her no matter what!
