Elijah pt.3

a was sitting outside with Ethan, talking about everything that's been happening over these past 2 days.
after many tears we finally decided to go back inside.
i went straight over to Billie.
"did you not sleep?" she asked me in a soft, comforting voice.
"not much, why?" i asked her
"you've got dark eyes, maybe you should sleep for a while," she offered, i quickly denied.
"no Billie i'll stay up with you guys,"
"whatever you say but take care of yourself," she said and gave me a weak smile.
we were all sitting down just staring into space as the outside world filled our ears, when the nurse walked in.
she sat on a chair and we all looked her direction, waiting for her to say something... anything..
i looked at Issac who's eyes were red and puffy, he just stared at the nurse.
"good and bad news," she said all at once
"the good news is, he's gonna be okay." she started and i say Issac put his head in his hands shaking his head in disbelief.
"but the bad news is, he'll be in here for another 2 weeks, having drips and what not, he's lost a lot of fluids so we need to get him back up to speed," she explained
"he will be awake soon, and when he is ill come back." she said and we thanked her, she then walked out.
i looked straight to Issac and brought him into a big hug, knowing it's what he needed.
he cried lightly and was shaking his head still.
"i can't believe he's gonna be okay!" he said excitedly.
-time skip-
it's been a few hours now, we've finished eating and are all having different conversations. i was playing with the rings on Billies finger when she sighed
"y/n i gotta get home, i have a lot of work to do," i pouted as she let the words flow from her mouth.
"okay baby, i love you take care of yourself," i said and we both stood up, i hugged her and gave her a quick kiss.
she went around the room saying bye to everyone and she walked out of the door; smiling at me as she did.

another hour past and a nurse came in,
"you can now go see mr Bell," she said
"one at a time," she added.
"can i please go first pleaseeee," issac said to us, of course all of us saying yes.
he ran out the door the nurse following behind.
"what do you think he's gonna do... Eli i mean," Ethan said and we all just looked at each other.
"i don't want to rush him into saying a thing, but it would be nice to know something, anything, so we can help him." i said and they nodded in agreement.

it's my turn.
i walked cautiously into the room and saw him, needles and drips hanging off him; he was connected to all different machinery, wow.
"Eli!" i said and have him a hug, as best i could.
"hey y/n," he said and smiled.
"how are you feeling?" i asked him and he sighed
"could be better.." he said and shook his head
"wanna talk about anything?" i asked and he nodded his head a little.
"i told Issac everything. there's a lot to it and i'll tell you all one day, that day won't be today, or tomorrow, or next week. but the day will come." he said and i started tearing up, knowing there's a lot he's silently going through.
we talked for another 30 minutes then i left; Dani coming in as i left.
i called Billie straight away and told her everything.

"i'll have to come see him tomorrow afternoon 100%," she said and yawned.
"baby i know you're tired, get some rest okay, i love you," i said and she sighed
"i love you too, goodnight angel," she said and hung up.
i rested my head on Tana's shoulder.
"when Dani comes back we are all heading back to the twins house." she said and i nodded.
drifting off to sleep on her shoulder.

i'm so sorry for not updating y'all, i've been busy, and having personal issues..
i've started a new book which i'll be releasing pretty soon.
i don't really know how to close this story... i don't want a big long 80 chapter story but i also don't want it cut short, i want everything right.
i was thinking, to end it do a 5-10 year time skip, after Billie and y/n wedding orrrrr time skip to the wedding, i feel like that'll be a nice close. anyway that's a while off so i won't get into it.
