We arrived at the car park giggling and completely out of breath. Leo and Peter had runned down the small hill with me and Lexi completly hestarical as we bounced around.
We slide of their backs and Lexi fell to the ground. I clutched my stomach, laughing even harder as tears ran down my face. The boys all looked at us with smiles on their faces as we tried to calm down.
"Is your boyfriend coming to pick you up?" Peter asked.
Lexi and I looked at each other confused.
"You know, the guy that dropped you off this morning" he said to Lexi.
We looked at each other before falling about laughing.
"Imagine... you... going out with... Max!" I breathed.
"What's so funny?" Peter asked looking a little vexed.
"Ana would kill me!" she laughed, ignoring his question.
"That was friend's brother" I explained.
"Oh..." Peter seemed a little reassured.
"Who's Ana?" Sam asked.
"My girlfriend" Lexi annouced with a smile.
The guys looked at her, shocked.
"Wait you're lesbian?"
"Yeah, why?" her smile had disappeared "Are you homophobic?"
Leo put his hands up and Peter kept his head down. I think he actually liked her.
"No, it's just a suprise."
"So is Max coming or do you need a drive home?" asked Kit.
"I need to drop off Leo and Peter, I can always drop you off too."
"If that doesn't bother you..."
"No it's fine" assured Sam.
We all said goodbye and Lexi and the guys drove off and we soon did the same.
"So" Kit turned to me "good enough to miss school?"
"Yes!" I exclaimed "It was great. I can't stop smiling, my cheeks hurt!" and we both laughed.
"And your friends were great" I added.
"They like you too. Well, Sam at least."
"Yeah, we spoke quit a bit."
"Yeah he tolled me" he said with a knowing smile.
His glace made me turn red and I stayed silent, pretending to be suddenly interested in the landscape and trying not to think about what Sam could have possibly said.
"Are you hungry?" he asked after a moment.
It was once he mentioned it I noticed how hungry I actually was.
"Do you mind if we stop somewhere?"
"Sure."
I smiled, not only at the perspective of food but at the idea of not having to leave Kit just yet.
In the middle of no where, he pulled over in the parking of a funny looking restaurant. It had that 80's look and was pretty much falling apart.
"I know what you're thinking" he anticipated "we're probably going to get food poisoning... But I've been here a couple of times and I know the cook."
I pushed aside my first impression and followed him inside, that was as poorly decorated as the outside.
We choose a booth with view on the road when the waiter came to take our order.
