i felt soft kisses scattered all across my face except for my lips as i slept in bed next to nova. see i tried to tell ben and them that someone was in this house but they swore up and down don't nobody want war with them.

the mothafucka' was kissing on my baby now they kissing on me. see, this is not what we finna do.

i kicked the person that was in front of me and quickly got up getting ready to throw some more punches until i heard a familiar voice.

"chill out babe. it's just me." kentrell whispered in my ear as he held my hands preventing me from hitting him, instantly making me calm down and relax.

"w-when did you get out?" i asked realization finally hitting me seeing that he was still in the same clothes he was in before he went to jail.

"im out on bond fa' now." he sighed before looking over at nova who was peacefully sleeping as pillows were surrounding her just so she couldn't fall off the bed.

there was a quick silence until i thought of what happened earlier. "you wasn't the one kissing on nova right?" i asked making him twist his face up in confusion.

after i spotted those kisses on nova's forehead i tried to go to the hospital to check if everything was alright with her but instead they insisted they called their private doctor just so i couldn't escape.

"tha' fuck you mean? that's my baby." he said as he slid off his shirt and made his way to the bathroom.

without thinking i followed him inside. "you're right. why would i even ask that as if you wear lipstick." i mumbled.

"robyn what da' hell you talm 'bout? somebody kissing on my baby?" he asked his whole voice and demeanour changing.

after i explained everything to him he was ready to tear everything in to pieces that was in his sight.

"where tha' fuck was yo stupid ass when they was kissing on her?" he yelled loudly making me look back at nova as she began to stir in his sleep.

"kentrell keep it down." i placed my hand on his chest but he shoved it away.

why is he acting like this? wasn't this nigga just kissing on me.

i watched him pinched his nose before grabbing on to my shoulders shaking me. "you a dumb ass bitch. how you let our daughter get put in danger? you lucky da doctor said she aight."

i looked at him in disbelief. this was the old kentrell back in highschool. im not just go stand here and let him bully me after all the shit i did for him.

"i knew i was damn fool when i tried to work things out with yo ass." i said before brushing his hands off of me and made my way towards nova gently picking her up and grabbed our duffle bag that had all our things.

"where you going? you not leaving me." his voice was so hushed and calm making me look at him differently. this nigga gotta be on drugs.

"kentrell just let me leave. i don't wanna do this in front of nova." i told him as he stood in front of me blocking the door.

he stared at me for a second before getting out of my way. i walked in the living room and pulled out my phone to order me a uber.

"get outta jail and don't know how to act. i aint emily bitch." i said rather loudly not caring if everyone else was sleep.

i heard some foot steps coming towards my direction indicating he was coming but i didn't care. i was gone show out before i left.

"that's why boomer fucked yo' cousin." i said as kentrell stood in the hallway.

"robyn i know you ain't talkin to yourself—" kd stopped dead in his tracks once he seen kentrell. he must've didn't know he was out of jail either.

"aye ya know you my dawg right?" kd asked smiling as he walked up to kentrell. he didn't answer and only looked at me so kd took that as his chance to keep talking.

"so can you buy me a phone?" he smiled looking down at kasey furry slippers that were on his feet.

"no i ain't buying you shit!" kentrell yelled before slapping him. he then kicked kd on his head and started charging towards me.

"imma beat the snot outta you hoe."

i got too carried away this chapter but oh well🤷🏽‍♀️ it what it is.
