i was woken up by the sound of nova light crying instantly making me sit up on the bed. i quickly examined myself to see if i had any bruises on me but my skin was totally clear.
i got up walking towards nova only to see her diaper was wet so i changed it, instantly making her stop crying.
i lifted her in my arms and slowly made my to the bathroom. i quickly brushed my teeth as i still held nova before walking into the kitchen to see everyone was up before me.
i looked around the room to see if i spotted kentrell but he was no where to be found.
"why you look all scared and shit?" kd asked all up in my face making me take a step back.
i ignored him and proceeded to grab a plate and fix my food before going into the refrigerator and grabbed nova's bottle.
"let me feed her." kasey smiled taking nova out of my hands along with the bottle but before she could walk away i gently grabbed her arm.
"is kentrell here?" i quietly asked making her tilt her head.
"no girl, he's still in jail but he's getting out on bond soon." she told me the new information before walking away towards boomer making me sigh in relief.
it was only a nightmare.

"you wanna go to the grocery store wit' me right quick?" ben peeked his head in my room as i just got finished flat ironing my hair.
"yea sure." i quickly applied a little but of lipgloss before following him down the hall way.
"im about to go to the store." i walked up to kasey who was holding nova as she was all cuddled up under boomer as they watched some movie on netflix.
"you can leave her here with me. it's not a problem." kasey looked up at me finally looking away at the tv.
"no, it's okay." i told her shaking my head before placing her into her car seat and went outside where ben was already waiting with the music blasting.
i placed nova in the backseat and buckled her up before getting in myself. once we made it to the grocery store ben handed me a long ass list making me scrunch up my face.
"the fuck is this?" i asked tilting my head at him as i held up the piece of paper.
"that's all da' things we need outta da' store." he pushed the basket into the huge store and made funny faces at nova making her laugh loudly.
"why you couldn't do it yourself?" i asked punching him in the back of his head as we both walked in seeing everyone shopping.
"because i don't know how to grocery shop, damn." he rubbed the back of his head wincing a little bit.
i sighed shaking my head before looking at the first that was on the list. five boxes of hot pockets. i begin to make my way to one of the aisles and stopped once i saw a familiar face.
"ain't that's nle choppa?" i asked ben pointing at the light skinned boy who was with one of his friends.
"ion know who the fuck that is." ben shrugged not really caring making me laugh. i guess i laughed a little too loudly because both of them turned around looking at me.
"wait— is that nba youngboy fine ass baby mama?" his friend said making me laugh yet again.
they both started walking towards me as i begin to grab the five boxes of hot pockets. they hungry asses got eat the shit all in one day.
"damn you even finer in person." the little rapper boy rubbed his hands together as he eyed me up and down.
"damn you look even younger in person." i laughed lightly before looking over at ben who was talking to his friend.
"im only seventeen." he chuckled as i stared up at him. he was way taller than me considering i was three years older than him.
"your not even legal yet, mr. choppa." i told him but he only shrugged like that wasn't stopping him. he looked over at nova before back at me.
"it's crazy how two famous people are actually in the same store." he smiled.
"nigga, we're in los angeles." i laughed looking at him stupidly. you can run into hella celebrities in this area and it'll be a completely normal thing.
"whatever, but lemme get a quick picture with you." he told me as he handed his friend his phone. we took a couple pictures before we continued shopping.
"holla at me if you need a step daddy." he winked at me making me roll my eyes.
"i still don't know who dat nigga is." ben said out of nowhere making me laugh yet again.
"he's a young rapper." i told him as i continued to laugh.
"he ain't gon' be able to rap once kentrell break his damn jaw." ben said seriously making me roll my eyes so hard that i thought they were going to get stuck.
