(A/N: so i totally get that there's a bunch of drama happening at once, but don't worry, everything will start to make sense. This will be the third chapter in Aries pov but it won't be too much of his pov. Also thanks for 180+ - now 200, this was pre-written - views! It's only been like a month, so that's really cool. I know updates are kinda scarce, that's because I'm working on another book in the background :P)
- Aries -
Nobody asks Libra and Leo what's going on. Libra and Leo leave within minutes, with Libra clutching Leo's hand very tightly.
Everyone shuffles out, leaving Virgo, me, Scorpio, and Gemini.
Gemini starts picking up popcorn. "I'll stay for a bit to help you pick up," she says. I nod.
"Scorpio's my ride... I'll be in the car," Virgo says, still looking down as she walks out.
Scorpio turns and follows her. I run after him and grab his arm.
"Hey, uh, can I ask you something?"
"What?" He pulls his arm from my grasp.
"Scorpio... Look, I know this isn't really a question that.. well, have you been drinking?"
"No. What the fuck? Why would you think that?" He snaps, lowering his voice.
"I... You tend to get kind of aggressive when you... And I saw some bruises and cuts on Virgo,"
"You think I'd hurt her?" He looks more sad than pissed. He shakes his head, "That's disgusting. I'm not that kind of guy. I can't believe you even let that cross your mind." He shakes his head once again.
"I'm just worried."
"Where were these bruises and cuts?"
"I.."
"Aries, isn't it enough that you accused me of beating the love of my life? Tell me where. I need to know if she's harming herself," he says.
"Her neck,"
He nods slowly. "Ok." And he walks off.
I go back in, letting go of a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Hey, you can go home if you want. I can-" I start.
"No, no. I, uh. I owe you this."
"Owe me this?"
"Yeah,"
She stands up, picking up the bowl of 'floor popcorn'.
I grab her arm. I seem to be grabbing arms a lot lately.
"Oh, did I miss some popcorn?"
I kiss her, and she kisses back for a little bit, then she pulls away.
"Oh... Um, I-"
I shake my head. "No, I know. I know. I just needed closure. I just needed. I needed one more kiss. That's it," I take the bowl from her. "You can go back home,"
She frowns at me, but she sighs and leaves anyway.
- Cancer -
"That was intense," I say.
"Yeah,"
"You okay?"
He shakes his head, his eyes focused on the road. "I feel like I caused it, you know? I was being petty."
"You didn't. You were just trying to bring back some memories,"
"Don't lie to me. You told me that I should stop yourself," Taurus shakes his head once again, pulling into the driveway.
I take a sharp breath. "I'm going to see my gynecologist tomorrow. I've been having some morning sickness."
"Yeah? Really? We've only tried a couple times,"
"Maybe we got lucky?"
"I hope so. I really want this. Maybe if I have a kid I'll stop acting like one,"
"Don't say that, love. You aren't childish, and I love you so much," he doesn't answer. "I'm scared," I say.
"To have a baby?" He parks the car in the driveway, stopping it and turning to me. "That's normal. I am, too."
"No. Well, yes. But I mean for us 12. It seems like after Pisces and Cap's wedding, everybody seemed to go their own way. I hardly know what happens with half of them. And after tonight? I just... I'm scared to lose the people I've only ever known."
He puts his hand over mine. "We're not going to lose them," but his face is unsure. "I hope we don't lose them,"
