🍀Late Night Walks🌵

*Andy's POV*
I yawned as I felt someone shaking me and calling my name. "Jacky?' I said looking up at my boyfriend.

"Come on let's go," he said pulling me out of bed and quickly hanging me a pair of joggers and one of his sweatshirts. I put them on as he walked back with a pair of my sneakers.

I put them on as he watched me and I couldn't help but see the huge smile on his face. I looked at my clock and almost died just seeing the time. "Jack it's 2:30 in the morning, why did you wake me up?" I asked as I stood up. This was the first night I had gone to sleep early and I hadn't planned on waking up anytime soon.

"I wanted to go for a walk with you," he said. I couldn't help but smile a little as him. "We could have done that once everyone was up and the sun was up,' I said. "It's prettier like this," Jack said and he pulled me into him quickly kissing my lips.

He then grabbed my hand lacing our fingers together as he pulled me out of room and outside.

We started walking down a small trail in the back of the house. It was very concealed and I definitely have not seen it before. I'm really impressed that Jack found it.

We walked in silence for a few minutes and I really did have to admit that it was very pretty out. The noises all around us were so calming.

"Baby?" Jack said turning to me suddenly. I looked up at him and he just quickly kissed me before he continued walking again. I smiled.

He kept walking till we got to a little lake. The sight here was breathtaking. The moon reflected off the water perfectly making everything in the area covered in a silver glow.

Jack pulled me closer to the water sitting once we're near the edge. He the pulled me down so I was sitting on his lap.

His lips were instantly on mine. I was quickly to throw my arms around his shoulders pulling myself closer to him if possible.

He was quick to deepen the kiss, his tongue sliding against mine. I had to admit, the taste of him was intoxicating.

He flipped us over slowly laying me on my back. He was quick to slowly start grinding against me making me gasp into the kiss. I could feel him smirk.

His lips slowly went down, across my lips to my neck. He started sucking and nipping at spots and I knew for sure I'd have a few marks for sure in the morning.

*TRIGGER WARNING: VIOLENCE AND MENTIONS OF RAPE*

Jack sat up pulling his shirt off when a loud sound broke the silence. Jack's body was instantly down covering mine.

"Get the hell up," I heard a man say. Jack was slow to stand up pulling me up as well making sure I was behind him too.

"How pathetic," the man said. A metallic smell was beginning to take over the smell of anything else. That's when it clicked in my head. Someone was shot and this guy has the gun.

I could see the fear in Jack's body but his composure was so strong. "I have two proposals for you," the guy said and I could see him swinging the gun slightly. "Either you sit back well I fuck this pretty boy," he said glancing at him.

"Fuck that. You are not touching him," Jack said and his arm snaked back holding me behind him.

I heard the guy laugh at Jack's response. "Oh come one. I'm sure you'd rather that then the other one," he said looking Jack right in the eyes. Jack was already shaking his head.

"The second option is, I can shot you and leave you there well I fuck the pretty boy," he said, "Either way I'm taking the pretty boy."

I could feel the anger radiating off him. "Jacky, j-just let him," I said and slightly step out from behind Jack. But his arm was quick to push me back behind him. "You are not touching him. Do what you want to me but you are not touching him,' Jack said.

"J-jacky," I said and once again tried to get out from behind him. "It's him only, Jacky," the man and I almost throw up. I seen Jack flinch as the man called him that.

"Baby," Jack said looking at me. "I-ill be okay,' I said and Jack let me go to the man. The man was quick to pull my face into his so our lips met. I knew he was watching Jack and I just wanted to scream. I felt his hands start traveling around my body and then I was pushed out of the way into the ground.

I heard another gunshot as a body fell ontop of me. I couldn't open my eyes. I couldn't breath. "Run Andy. Get up and get out of here," I heard Jack say in my ear. My body was shaking and I couldn't move. All I felt is fear.

"Baby go," I heard Jack say and his body moved off me. I got up and I ran. I heard several more gunshots as I ran and I knew Jack was gone.

He died saving me. I walked into the house. I could feel the hot tears running down my face. There was blood all over my clothes and hands.

"Andy what the hell happened," Rye said having been sitting in the kitchen drinking tea. He was up and out of his chair in second and was in front of me. "Where are you hurt? Wheres Jack, he's going to kill whoever did this," Rye said and I completely fell apart.

Rye held me close and I could feel his tears hitting my shirt now. I knew Rye knew that the blood wasn't mine.

Rye got the other boys downstairs as he called the police explaining in his words what happened. They had me lead the way as I walked down the trail showing everyone where everything happened. I tried to explain what happened but I couldn't without crying.

I don't remember much else besides passing out in Rye's arms.

The next morning the news was everywhere.

Jack Duff found dead at 20.

Three People Found Dead One Being Roadtrip Member Jack Duff.

Rye was right he killed the man who tried to hurt me but it also killed him.

As I go to the funeral my body just goes completely numb. I can't feel anything anymore. No tears as we do the service, nothing as we bury him, and nothing as his family talks to me embracing me along with my mother.

But still just numbness.

At home I couldn't sleep and I knew the graveyard was just a few miles away so I walked. I walking myself there and found his grave. I laid next to it with just my head on the dirt.

I needed him and now he's gone. And now I'm just numb.
