*Brooklyn's POV*
I was awaken by a smaller body sitting up on me. I opened my eyes to see my beautiful baby boy sitting on me. He leaned down and kissed my lips before getting up and trying to pull me up.

"Daddy, get up!" Andy whined still trying to get me up. I chuckled and sat up. "Yay! You've been sleeping all day," he said crossing his arms. I looked over at the alarm clock and sure enough it was already noon.

I got up and threw on some clothes. "Baby, you need to get dressed for the day," I said looking over at him sitting on the bed still in his pajamas. "But I like these," he whined. "Come on, please get dressed for me," I said and he got up and changed. Putting on a black pair of skinny jeans and one of my hoodies. I kissed him and then took his hand as we went downstairs.

"What do you want to do today?" I asked him. "Can we make cookies?! Oh! And cupcakes please!" He said and he started jumping up and down. "I can see if Jack or Rye's free to help you with that," I said and he started pouring. "No, I want you to help me," he whined out. "But bakings not my thing," I said. I could see the tears already starting to form in my eyes and I was quick to pull him close. "Shh, you don't need to cry. I'll help you make your cupcakes and cookies," I said and he smiled, "Get your shoes on so we can go to the store. But you have to behave."

He quickly got his shoes and slipped them on well I put mine on. We went out to car and he got into his seat in the back. I made sure he was buckled and then got in driving us to the store.

Once we were there, I made sure I had a tight grip on Andy. He was always curious and tended to get lost easily in stores and I couldn't risk losing him.

I lead him into the store, grabbing a cart and walking straight to the baking section. "I want this one!" Andy said pointing at the a box of cupcakes with bright pink frosting. I put the box in, along with a thing of frosting. "Can I get this Daddy?" he asked me, grabbing a bag of chocolate chip cookies off the shelf. "Put them in the cart. Get what you'd like but don't over do it," I tell him and he smiles putting a few more bags of cookie mix in the cart.

By the end of it we had three different kinds of cupcakes, six bags of cookie mix, a few containers of frosting, and enough of each of the extra ingredients. I paid and we brought the stuff out to the car and went home.

I carried everything in as Andy went inside, getting ready to cook. I walked into the kitchen to find him washing his hands and I smiled at him. Then he turned towards me. "You have to wash your hands too," he said. "Are you sure you want my help with this?" I asked him and he just nodded excitedly.

I washed my hands and got out a large bowl and a cupcake pan. I was so nervous to be helping him with this. This was something I could not do, no matter how hard I try. Everything always turned out wrong and usually not edible.

Andy was already opening the box and pouring the mix into the bowl. I picked up the box, "Can you get three eggs?" I asked him and he was up grabbing the eggs. He brought them back to me and I showed him how to crack the egg, then I helped him with the second one, and the third one he did all by himself. He was so happy about that.

I kept reading ingredients off for him and helping with it the best I could. The I turned the oven on, having forgotten to earlier, and I help him fill the cupcake linings. I put them in and set the timer and we started working on a batch of cookies.

Everything was going fine with these. My nerves had started to calm down and I was just hoping for the best. We finished these in the same time as the oven went off with the cupcakes. I took them out and set them on the counter, warning Andy not to touch them yet that they were still really hot, and grabbing the cookies and putting them in.

We wanted about ten minutes before I told Andy to grab the frosting he wanted. He grabbed the pink one he was really excited for.

I opened it for him and showed him how to put it on the cupcake by just smearing it on the top. They weren't as pretty but it was still the same. He started and doing it by himself. I sat back and watched him work. He was so concentrated on making them as perfect as possible.

"Daddy, I did it," he said turning around and jumping up and down and then hugging me. I was too busy just watching him to realize that the time had gone by in a blink of an eye and he was finished.

I looked down at my baby boy and smiled at the frosting on the tip on his nose. I wiped it off with my thumb and then licked it off my finger causing him to giggle.

"How did you get frosting on your nose?" I asked him and he just giggled more.

I grabbed a plate out and set a few cupcakes on it before walking to the couch with Andy following close behind. I gave him on as he sat down next to me cuddling up to me.

Maybe baking cupcakes and cookies wasn't that bad. Especially with him.

Shit! Speaking of cookies I think I forgot to set a timer for them.
