Fight to survive

13. Death #2

There it was again the same noise but a little Louder this time. Then a noise came that everyone dreaded to hear. An ear piercing scream!!!

"Was that Taetum's scream?" Dylan asked. No one responded we all just looked at felicity - who was Taetum's best friend- "I--I think so." Felicity replied.

We all ran outside to see if Taetum was ok. We didn't see anything. We ran all around the shed and still couldn't see her.

"I think we should all go back inside where it's safe." I said.

"And leave Tae all alone out here?!?" Felicity replied. I ignored her and ran inside of the shed. I saw a large robot it was huge!! It was carrying Taetum, whom was passed out into its arms.

If it is what I think it is then we are all in deep trouble. I ran back outside to make sure the others new we are not alone.

"Guys. Taetum's inside." I hissed at them.

"Oh good. I was really worried." Felicity said.

"Um I think you still should be. I think an attacker has got her." I felt worried and scared for all of us. An attacker is something that the Government puts into the arena to kill the contestants if they haven't done so already. Last year one girl got so scared of the attacker she killed it and everyone else as well. She wasn't the tribute in fact most people forgot she was even in the Hunt. She was really quiet, timid and shy. She wasn't shown that much on TV probably because she was quiet and the government thought she was boring.

The attackers were dangerous. The government new that which made them happy. The attackers weren't just designed to kill you, They were designed to torture you. To kill you slowly and painfully. They could make you go mad. They were evil pure evil. Taetum was trapped with an attacker and honestly I don't think she will survive if she is stuck with it for too long. Everyone else ran inside, Although they tried to be as quiet as possible incase the Attacker knew we were behind it. The Attackers attacked like crazy they went on a massive rage just to destroy you. I got scared just from watching last years Hunt because the attackers were so scary. Last year it wasn't a robot instead it was a pack of wild dogs it ate one person last year even it's bones!

We have to find out the attackers weak spot. If we don't we probably won't kill it and Taetum and/or others might die. I don't know what to do I don't think anyone knew what to do either. We couldn't just start hitting aimlessly at the attacker otherwise it could drop or even throw Taetum. I guess we just have to wait for it to put her down. I don't know how long that will be though. BANG! Crap I had tripped and had fallen back onto the shed door. The attacker put Taetum down and turned around too face us. The robot was really creepy it had a human face which was shit scary. It had no eyebrows or eyelashes and it just stared at us. The whole body was just creepy. It's back and spine was thin and was all metal. It was so creepy. I think Felicity was angry at it because she went rage at it. She ran up as fast as possible and hit it. wow that achieved a lot! So much for finding its weak spot. The attacker just stared at her and stared screaming right in her face. Aughhh the noise was terrible. It was screechy and ear piercing. Augh I held my hands on my ears as I waited for the awful noise to die down. But it didn't the attacker just leaned in closer to felicity and started screaming even louder. Felicity just ran out the shed with the attacker right on her tail. It was awfully loud! I didn't know what to do. Wake Taetum up or help and run after Felicity.

"What should we do?" I asked

"I have no clue." Courtney replied.

The screaming stopped and it was quiet. This was good. Peace and quiet how... Refreshing. I didn't really think but I went outside the shed and went to check on Felicity. I now know why the screaming stopped and wished I had gone outside sooner. I found Felicity on the floor dead.
