*Two things, okay there's over 200 reads and well I didn't expect that and the second thing is this is that awkward sex talk that was mentioned in previous chapters so if you want to skip that, skip this chapter. I included this chat because I believe this is something important all couples thinking about having sex should do. Partners should be on the same page before doing the horizontal tango so neither person regrets it but hey, it's ultimately your life so do what you want. Something I want to do is bring credit to JK Rowling for writing the Harry Potter books because they're amazing.*

**WARNING this chapter talks about sex, if you're not okay with it, dont read this chapter.**

Snow fell softly on the cold London streets. Hermione and Draco were walking hand and hand through St. Luke’s Gardens. The garden was relatively empty because the flowers weren’t in bloom, not that the couple minded. They both enjoyed the peaceful scenery and the picturesque winter atmosphere. Snow blanketed the grass and trees, twinkling white lights were strung throughout the garden and a nativity was placed near the front of St. Luke’s Church.

Hermione looked into Draco’s eyes and tried to gain some courage. She wanted to do Luna’s assignment, she just didn’t know if this was the right time to bring it up. Their relationship was perfect in every way and she didn’t want to make it awkward.

“Hermoine, I wanted to ask you something,” Draco said out of the blue.

Hermione let out a worried laugh, “That’s funny. I was going to say the same thing. You go first.”

Draco nervously itched the back of his neck, “I wanted to invite you to my flat for Christmas Eve. I know we’re going over your parents’ for Christmas but I thought it would be nice to spend some time together the night before. I’m not the best cook but we can bake Christmas biscuits and I live by that chinese take away place you love and we can watch cheesey muggle Christmas movies. You don’t have to give me an answer now-”

Hermione planted a sweet kiss on Draco’s icy cold cheek, “I would love to.”

A smile spread across Hermione’s face but it didn’t quite reach her chocolate brown eyes. “Love? Is everything alright?” Draco asked, reading Hermione’s puzzled expression like a book. It was amazing how he could just look at her and know exactly what she needed.

“Luna gave me a little assignment and I don’t know if it’s the right time to bring it up.”

Draco led Hermione over to a bench under a snow covered trees, “You can talk to me about anything, Hermione. No matter how stupid it may be, I’ll always hear you out.”

“I don’t know, it’s pretty serious and-”

“Just be blunt. Don’t sugar coat it.”

Hermione took a deep breath, “Do you want to have sex with me?”

Draco smirked, “Of course I do but we’re in front of a church, I don’t think this is the best place to shag for the first time.”

Hermione chuckled, “No I just wanted to talk and well, we ended up talking here. I told Luna that I didn’t know if you were interested in taking that step and she told me to just ask you. And now that we’re spending Christmas Eve together, I don’t know what your expectations are.”

Draco wrapped an arm around Hermione’s shoulders and pulled her close to him, “I invited you over because I want to spend time with you, not because I’m expecting to have sex with you. Hermione, I would never push you to do something you’re not comfortable with, and you never said if you’re ready to have sex with me.”

Hermione smiled and laid her head on Draco’s shoulder, “I do. I’m just really bad at reading romantic signals unless their blatant so thank you for putting up with conversation.”

Draco sighed, “Hermione, I will have any conversation with you, no matter how awkward because that means I get to spend time with you. Spending time with you is a privilege and I love spending time with you. We need to have conversations with you because it gives us a chance to get to know each other. I’m one of the luckiest men on the planet because I get to spend the rest of my life with you, and if we can get through a couple awkward conversations we’ll be just fine.”
