*Oh hello, how's it going? Cool, cool that sound [insert appropriate response here]. Now that we've gotten pleasantries out of the way I would like to say this book is going to end in 20 to 30 chapters. Also, y'all picked option B so there is going to be ups and downs before we get to the expansion part of the International Expansion Act so keep that in mind. Also keep in mind that I did not create the Harry Potter franchise, JK Rowling did.*

Draco took a mental note to thank the person who invented the bikini. He was just grateful for a private beach and twenty seven degree weather so his wife had an excuse to wear the least amount of clothing possible. Hermione's itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dotted bikini left little to the imagination, not that he minded. Draco just wanted to sit back and admire her perfect figure while she bathed in the hot Greek sunshine. He was prone to burning so, he preferred to sit under a large umbrella in a cozy lawn chair while reading a novel.

A distinctive crack broke Draco out of his thoughts. He looked around and a familiar blonde figure wrapped in deep purple robes appeared right in front of him, "Hello mother, for what do I owe the pleasure?" Draco said with a bright smile on his face. Nothing could kill the joy he felt in this moment, not even his lunatic of a mother.

"I can't believe you actually went through with that monstrosity," Narcissa spat, "After everything we've been through you couldn't do the one thing I asked."

Draco closed his book and sighed, "Mother, my wedding was not a monstrosity, it was quite lovely in fact. You would have known if you had the decency to show up."

"That event was not a 'wedding'," Narcissa spat, "It was an abomination. That mutt is a disgrace to our family name."

"I would prefer you used kinder language when you speak about my wife," Draco said in a low, violent tone. Draco knew his mother's magical biases ran deep into her core but he still held out hope for their relationship. He wanted his future children to know their grandmother. He wanted her there at their birthday parties, christmas dinners, and everything in between. So, he still held out hope, as much hope as he could muster.

Hermione sensed the uncomfortable shift in the air and finally noticed the new presence on the beach. She rose from her cozy spot, summoned a cover up, and walked towards her mother in law, "Hello Mrs. Malfoy. How-"

"On hush you disgraceful tramp," Narcissa interrupted.

"My wife is not a tramp," Draco remarked.

Narcissa gave Hermione a devilish smile and took a few calculated steps towards the brunette, "That's not what I've heard. Word travels fast, little mudblood. I hope you're ready for your past to come back and haunt you."

Draco stood in between Hermione and his mother, "Mother if you have nothing nice to say, you should leave. I do not want my honeymoon ruined."

Narcissa looked passed her son and eyed Hermione, "You have three weeks little mudblood. Enjoy them while they last."

Another loud crack signaled the regal woman's disappearance and Hermione turned away from Draco's curious glance. She felt like his eyes were burning into her sun kissed skin, watching her every move. Hermione didn't like the sudden increase in attention. She just wanted to cradle herself in a blanket and hide away from the world.

"Hermione? Love, are you okay?" Draco asked, his voice laced with sincerity not the harsh judgement Hermion thought she deserved. When Hermione didn't respond, Draco reached out to touch her shoulder. She flinched at the sudden gesture and took a step away from him, "Hermione, what does my mother know?"

Tears pooled in Hermione's brown eyes and she quickly shook her head, "If I tell you, I might lose you and I don't want to lose you."

Draco wrapped his arms around Hermione's small frame and pulled her close to his chest, "Whatever it is, I promise I will stand by you. You are my wife and I love you, nothing will ever change that."
