The next day, I invited Madison over because I was tired if her sending me text message after text message, asking for details about my night with Sasha. After Sasha left yesterday, it was impossible to get her off my mind. My pillows smelled like her and every time I closed my eyes, I saw the way she bit her lip when I was in between her thighs.
I barely heard the door open when Madison came in. She was holding a vase of pink roses and smiling from ear to ear.
"Someone left you flowers. You must have put it down on ol girl."
"Whatever, shut up. You're lying." I blushed and snatched the card that was in her hand. Those flowers could have been from anyone. But they were so pretty I couldn't stop smiling. Madison knew they were from Sasha and she was right. As I read the card, my stomach filled with butterflies. Can't see you tonight but I'll be thinking about you.
"Wow, I didn't expect that."
"You must have ate her ass and some more shit, got the girl sendin' flowers and shit." Madison said as she opened the refrigerator door just to close it two seconds later. I laughed and headed for my bedroom.
Looking around my room made me think about Sasha. It made me wish she was at my house instead of Madison but it didn't make sense. I barely knew her and yet I was so drawn to her. My body craved her in the most sensual way.
"Aaliyah you ain't even listenin' to shit I'm sayin'."
"What'd you say?" I asked and snapped out of my daze. Madison was looking at me with an eyebrow raised. It didn't sound the same when she said my name. I liked it better when it came off of Sasha's tongue.
"I asked if she finna be yo girlfriend now? Gotchu cheesin' all hard and shit."
"Let's get something to eat. I'm starving." I avoided the question because I didn't want to talk about Sasha anymore. But that wasn't enough for Madison.
On our way to get lunch, Madison brought Sasha up every chance she got. She wanted to know if it was different being with a stripper than a man. If the sex was amazing and what it was like. She wanted to know where she was from. If she had any brothers and so many other things. I wasn't able to tune her out until I checked my phone.
Sasha😍🤩: Isn't he cute?

I stared at the picture with a smile. She was right, he was really cute. I imagined her with the puppy and a bright smile on her face. That made me smile.
"She must be textin' you." Madison smirked and nibbled on a French fry. I nodded my head and sent a text back, smiling from ear to ear.
"She sent me a picture of the dog she just adopted." I showed Madison the picture and ate a few of my own French fries.
"Aw he is cute. Is she a dog lover or something?"
"She's almost finished with vet school, I think she just loves animals. That's the vibe I got. It's cute." I couldn't wipe the smile from my face talking about Sasha. Not that I wanted to.
"Yeah you gon' have it bad. Never heard you call a girl cute before with that look on your face."
"What look?" I asked even though I probably already knew the answer. Madison looked at me and chuckled.
"Like you're in love."
"Whatever, I like her. Now let's change the subject." I rolled my eyes and hid my smile behind the back of my hand the second I felt my phone vibrate again. Butterflies lingered in the pit of my stomach. I was definitely going to "have it bad."
