Artemis unlocked her parents' door and walked in. Seeing no one, she walked to the bedroom. Her mom was sleeping, and her dad was sitting on the bed next to his wife, holding a diamond necklace that looked... just like the one on the news. Cam was sitting on the edge of the bed. He spotted Artemis. "Oh, hey Babe."

Artemis just nodded. She looked at her dad. "So you're the one who took it."

"Yep. And you're not gonna tell anyone, Baby Girl."

"Why would I? I never do."

"I'm just reminding you." He slapped her.

Artemis rubbed her cheek.

"I didn't hit you that hard," Crusher said. She shoved her backwards into the wall. She hit her head, blacking out for a second. She was dizzy and the edges of her vision were black. "That's hitting you hard."

Cam hauled her to her feet. "C'mon let's get you back to our room." He lead her to their bed, easing her down, tucking her in.

She raised a hand to her head, just processing that she was in pain. "Ow."

Cam sighed. "I'll go get you some ice." He left to the dining area with his refillable cup to grab some ice. He filled the cup up a few minutes later and was about to leave when a redheaded boy ran into him.

"Sorry! Oh, hey Cam."

"Wally."

"Where's Artemis?"

"Our room. She tripped and hit her head on the wall. Just getting her some ice."

"Oh, god. Is she ok?"

"Seems like it. But it just happened, so it's hard to tell." The coldness in Cam's voice was obvious. He and Wally strongly disliked each other.

"I'll come with you," Wally said. "If she has a concussion, you'll need help."

"I guess."

The two boys walked to Arty's and Cam's room. Wally saw Artemis and ran over. "Hey."

"Wally?" She slurred.

"Yeah. Look at me."

Artemis looked up at him. All it took was one look and he immediately knew that she was concussed. "Jeez, Arty. You must've hit your head hard." He looked at Cam. "We've gotta get her to the hospital."

Cam sighed. "Let's get her to the car."

Wally scooped her up and followed Cam to his car. He slipped into the back with her. Soon they were at the hospital.

Sure enough, Artemis had a concussion. Her parents were called and informed. The doctor said that she needed to take it easy for a couple weeks.

"But we have a concert in a week!" Wally objected.

"How many days exactly?" The doctor asked.

"Nine."

"She should be alright for one concert by then."

"Thank god."

Soon they were back at the hotel. Wally went back to his room. Cam back Artemis back to bed a slid in with her.

"Thanks Cam," She muttered. She had some pain meds in her so her head wasn't killing her, but she still was disoriented and confused.

"No problem, Babe. But I want payment."

"Like what?"

"This." He leaned over a kissed her. He slid his hand up her shirt, under her bra. He clutched her breast. She flinched. "It's alright, Baby. You're fine." He squeezed hard enough that it hurt.

"Stop," She whispered. "Please."

He loosened his grip. "There."

She was exhausted, and fell asleep soon after, despite the uncomfortableness of Cam's unwanted hand on her body. Cam quickly followed suit.
