Wally walked alongside Artemis. "Did you hear about that statue that got stolen a few days ago?"

"I did. That was a weird night."

"How so?" Wally asked, genuinely curious.

"Well, Dad and Cam came back late. Like, really late. Cam woke me up when he came in. He just told me to go back to sleep, and he took a shower. A shower. At 3am. Who does that?"

"I don't know, Arty," He answered, but his head was spinning. It had been confirmed that three people had been behind the robbery. Which had not looked good for Artemis. "Do you remember what he was wearing?"

"Why?" She laughed. "Do you think he took the statue?"

"Just answer me, please."

"Jeans, a black shirt and a beanie. Why?"

"No reason," Wally replied, his mouth dry. "When did you get home?"

"Eleven. Ask my mom if you don't believe me."

"I never said that I didn't." The break in had occurred from 11:30-12:15. The second the cops arrived, the thieves disappeared. So it couldn't have been Artemis.

They walked past the Eiffel Tower. "Mon ami," Wally said in a terrible fake French accent. "Would you like to go up to the top of the tower?"

"Oui," Artemis said in a far better accent. St the top, they found one of Wally's friends, eighteen year old Will Harper. He and his twin brother, Roy, worked backstage, so Artemis vaguely knew him.

"Will!" Wally called. "Will Harper!"

The older redhead turned around, along with an ebony, who shrugged her shoulders and went back to observing the skyline and the city. "Hey, Wally! Hey, Artemis!"

Artemis had been staring at the ebony since she had gotten a brief look at her face. She was pretty sure she knew who it was.

At the mention of Artemis' name, the ebony turned around again, her eyes meeting the blonde's. "Jade?!" Artemis said in shock. She couldn't believe it was really her.

Jade got over her shock. "Hey, Missy."

Will arched an eyebrow. "Missy? You two know each other?"

"Yeah," Jade said. She jerked her head towards Artemis. "She's my little sister."

Wally's and Will's jaws dropped. "What?! I didn't know you had a sister?!"

Both girls laughed a little. "Never came up," Jade said.

"Same," Artemis said.

"Then why aren't you on tour, then?" Will asked in confusion.

Jade shrugged. "I told you I ran away years ago."

"Why?" Wally asked.

Jade arched an eyebrow at Artemis, who gave her sister a pointed look that the boys didn't understand.

"Dad and I didn't along," The nineteen year old stated. "So I took off."

"What does 'didn't get along' mean?" Will asked.

"It means, my dear boyfriend, that we couldn't go a day without a huge argument."

"Yeah, it was insane," Artemis said. "They would literally have fights over nothing."

"Jeez," Will said. "Remind me to not get on your bad side."

"Trust me, you'll remember," Jade said.

The four ended up walking through Paris together. The boys ran ahead, racing to the end of a sidewalk. Jade turned to her sister. "So, you haven't told anyone about Dad, huh?"

Artemis sighed. "No."

"Not even your boyfriend?" Jade said in surprise.

"My- oh, I'm not dating Wally."

"Seriously? Well, you should be. The way you two look at each other says that you really care about each other- as more than friends."

"Well, I'm not dating him. I'm dating Cam."

Jade laughed. "Cam? As in Cameron Mahkent? That scrawny, blond best friend of yours? That Cam?"

"Yes, that Cam." Artemis' voice was tinged with sadness.

"Why do you sound like that? It's not like he's abusing you or something."

Artemis looked at her older sister, then looked down.

Jade's jaw dropped. "He is isn't he?"

"Yeah," Artemis admitted.

"I can't believe it. It's so ridiculous, I almost want to laugh. Have you told anyone?"

"Just Mom. And you, now."

"You need to tell someone else- like that Wally friend of yours." Jade gestured to the end of the sidewalk, where Wally was doing a victory dance. "I can't do much, I helped him and Dad out the other night."

"So the third person was you."

"It was indeed. I need the money." She rubbed her stomach. "I can't take care of myself and a baby with a waitress job."

Artemis stood there in shock. She now noticed her sister's stomach was somewhat swollen. "Who's baby?"

Jade looked down. "Will's."

"You haven't told him, have you?" Artemis asked.

"No."

"How long have you-"

"I've known for four months. I find out the gender tomorrow. I didn't tell him because..."

"You were scared that he'd leave?"

Jade nodded, a tear running down her cheek. "You're the only person who knows. Except Dad, he figured it out that night, when I was trying to get out of literal heavy lifting."

"Ok, you need to tell Will. Now."

"Arty-"

"Tell. Him."

"Ok." The ebony looked nervous.

Artemis smiled at her. "I'm right here."

Jade nodded. "Hey, Will," She said when she and her sister reached the boys. "I really need to talk to you about something. Alone."

Will's eyes flickered over to Wally. "Of course, Babe." He let his girlfriend lead him away.

"So, ummm..." Jade took a deep breath. Artemis walked up next to her and squeezed her hand reassuringly. Jade took another deep breath. "I'm pregnant."

Will's eyes widened. "Really?"

"Yeah. I find out the gender tomorrow."

"How long have you-"

"Four months."

"Wow." Then he smiled and grabbed her hand. "Let's go tell Roy! And Oliver and Dinah!" Oliver "Ollie" and Dinah Queen were the twins' adoptive parents. He dragged Jade behind him. "C'mon!" Jade laughed and ran with him.

"What was that about?" Wally asked.

Artemis' eyes sparkled. "Will's gonna be a daddy. And I'm gonna be an aunt!"

"What? Really? That's awesome! Congrats!"

Artemis' phone rang. She answered. "Hey Cam." Cam said something. "Of course, Babe... Yeah, I know... I'm sorry... Ok!... I'm coming!.. I love you... Bye." She looked at Wally. "I've gotta go. Sorry." She ran off, Wally watching her forlornly.
