Wally's eyes fluttered open. Artemis was fast asleep, snuggled against him. He hadn't meant to fall asleep in her bed, he really hadn't. But they had stayed up talking, and they both just fell asleep.

He felt something wet on his upper leg. He pulled the blanket away, revealing a small red stain. It only took a few seconds to suspect what it was, and another to confirm it. He sighed, and pulled the blanket back up around Artemis. He grabbed a pair of Artemis' too big sweatpants and put them on, hoping that she wouldn't mind.

He walked over to Paula's bedside table- he was honestly surprised Paula hadn't sent him back to his room- and took out a bottle of Advil. He grabbed a water bottle and walked back over to Artemis. He gently shook her awake. "Hey, Arty?"

"Y-yeah?" She asked groggily.

"Take these."

"Why?"

"Just trust me." He handed her the blue pills and opened water bottle. She swallowed them.

"Can I go back to sleep?"

"Of course, Babe." After making sure she was asleep, he pawed through her bags and the bathroom, trying to find a box of pads or tampons. Finding none, headed downstairs to an area where extra toiletries were for those that needed them. He didn't know what she used, so he just grabbed a box of pads and another of tampons and hoped for the best.

He carried them back to the room, setting them on the bathroom counter. Then he went back downstairs, returning with breakfast for the both of them. He passed the Queens and Paula.

"Someone's finally awake," Paula teased.

Wally rolled his eyes, smiling. He once again hiked back up to the room. He set the food down on the table. He went into the bathroom and cut the shower on. He gently shook Artemis awake.

"Good morning, Baby. You gotta get up, ok?"

"Ok," Artemis mumbled, stretching.

Then she seemed to notice something was off. She slid her hand underneath the covers, then pulled it back out. Her fingertips were red with blood. He face went pale and she looked at Wally, panicked. "Did I get it on you?!"

"A little bit. But it's fine, Arty, I promise."

Her breathing sped up. "I'm really sorry, Wally! I'm really, really sorry! I didn't know! I didn't mean to!" She started sobbing.

Wally gently took hold of one of Artemis' shoulders, wiping away the tears with his free hand. "I said that it was ok, Arty, and I meant it." She kept crying. Wally wrapped his arms around her.

"It's ok, baby, shhh. It's okay. Deep breath in. Hold it. Breathe out." She followed the pattern until she calmed down. "The shower's ready for you, and I'll get you some clean clothes while you're in there."

Artemis gave him a small smile. "Thank you, Wally. This happened a couple of times with Cam and it didn't go so well." She said the last part quietly.

"Well, I'm not Cam. Now go take a shower and clean up." A few minutes later Artemis called for some clothes, which Wally gave her through the door that she cracked open.

"Thanks, Wally!" A few minutes later, she walked out, a towel draped around her shoulders.

"What did I do to deserve you?" Artemis asked, leaning against her boyfriend as they ate.

"I should be the one asking you that," Wally stated. Artemis looked up at him, and he leaned over, connecting his chapped lips with her plump ones.
