IT APPEARS THAT I MILDLY TRAUMATIZED YOU GUYS IN THE LAST CHAPTER... SORRY. ALSO, THIS IS SHORT, BUT I'LL HAVE TWO MORE CHAPTERS UP IN A FEW HOURS TO MAKE UP FOR BOTH

Artemis stood next to Cam as he talked to Young Justice. Wally couldn't help but notice that she was far quieter than normal. What he- along with everyone else- didn't notice was that she flinched whenever Cam's hand got near her. She'd spent the last week getting the worst beatings that she'd ever received from him before.

He was furious that she was starting to fight back, and last night he'd done the unspeakable. He'd gotten her drunk off her a** and had tried to take advantage of her. Or maybe he had. She didn't remember. The only thing that she remembered from the previous night was him lying on top of her and her weakly pushing against him.

"Hey, Arty! What's up with you?" Dick asked.

"Nothing," She said quietly.

"You don't seem ok. You sick?"

"No. Just tired. I didn't get much sleep last night and I have a bad headache."

"Oh."

"Did you take advil or something?" Megan asked worriedly.

"No. We ran out."

"Yikes. Wally has some back at his room. Wally, go take Artemis to get some medicine."

Wally nodded and he lead Artemis to his room, leaving Cam behind. He opened a drawer, taking out the bottle. "One or two?"

"Two," Artemis said, rubbing her head. Wally handed her the medicine and a cup of water. She gulped them down. "Thanks, Wally."

"Hey, Arty?"

"Yeah?"

"A few nights ago, I was wondering if I heard you right."

Her face went a pale pink. "What?"

"I thought I heard you tell Cam to knock it off."

A smile flickered on her face. "I did do that."

"Yay, Artemis!"

She grinned. "Thanks Wally. Still have some sense to knock into him, though."

"Well, it's a start."

"Yeah, I guess it is."

The two walked back outside to the others. "Well, Arty and I have things to do, places to be," Cam said.

"Bye, guys," Artemis said with a smile.

After they left, Dick said, "I'm assuming that you all heard about the Rembrandt painting that got stolen a few days ago?"

Everyone nodded. "Yeah, my sister asked on of the officers there what was going on when we passed it," Wally said.

"Well, I being the detective-in-training that I am, noticed that every stop on our tour something extremely valuable has been stolen."

"What?" Megan asked, her eyes popping out of her head.

"Yeah. That necklace in Orlando, that painting in London, and now that Rembrandt here."

"Wow," Conner said.

"So the question is, who's doing the stealing. It isn't any of us or our families."

"Well, that leaves the tour clean, right?" Wally said.

"Not exactly."

Kaldur caught on. "There's the Crocks and Cam."

"And they all have criminal records, Artemis included."

"Artemis would never do something like this!" Megan exclaimed.

"Plus, she couldn't've! We were with her every time something was stolen!" Wally added.

"I'm not saying that she personally did it. But did anyone else notice that Arty's dad and Cam weren't at either concert? Who's to say that they didn't?"

Everyone fell silent. Finally, Wally whispered a response. "No one."
