Spitfire, as you requested, scarlettromanof. Hope this satisfies you. Is there anything anyone wants updated? Sorry that I haven't been updating my YJ stuff, I've been working on it- I've got a couple oneshots coming up in the next couple weeks, hopefully. I haven't been feeling the YJ groove the last couple of months. Still in the fandom, but I'm not 100% obsessed with it. Only, like, 40%. Marvel is to blame I'M SORRY. (5% is Hamilton. Speaking of which, I am eventually gonna update Hamilton High. Sorry it's taking so long, Ughlifeissoboring and sassyclassydiva.)

Wally laughed as Artemis struggled to pull her hair up in a ponytail. They were outside, and it was windy. Artemis' original hair elastic had snapped, resulting in her digging through her purse for another on as her thick, wild blonde hair kept blowing everywhere.

"Easy for you to laugh," Artemis grumbled. "Alright, that's it." She marched into a nearby café. She could now easily pull her hair up in a ponytail without the windy conditions. "There. Finally."

Wally chuckled, and leaned in to kiss her, but she shoved him, pouting.

"Oh, Miss Feisty, I'm sorry. Did I make you mad?" He teased.

Artemis didn't honor him with a response. She walked away from him, towards the counter. She was hungry. He followed her. They ordered some lunch and sat down at a table.

Artemis took a bite of her sandwich.

Wally leaned forward, gently tugging on her ponytail. "Baaabbbeee," He whined.

"What is it, Baywatch?"

"I'm bored."

"What do you want me to do about it?"

"Kiss it better?"

Artemis rolled her eyes. "You're such a child."

"Please, Arty?" He whined.

Artemis sighed and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "There. All better?"

Wally grinned. "All better."

Artemis laughed.

"I'm surprised that the paparazzi haven't gotten us yet."

"Don't jinx it!" Artemis exclaimed, gently smacking him.

"Let's go explore!" Wally said after they finished their lunch. He pulled her to her feet and tugged her after him. They ran down the streets. They stopped at a bookstore. As they were paying, Artemis' phone rang. Without checking the caller ID, she answered it.

"Hey, Artemis," A familiar voice said. "Can you take Lian for about an hour and a half so I can have a date with Roy? Please?"

Artemis sighed. Her mom would be at the hotel, so it wasn't like she didn't have help. She was sure the only reason Jade hadn't turned to their mother was because Paula had barely gotten any sleep the night before.

"Ok, fine. See you in twenty."

"Thank you, Arty! I owe you, k?" The line went dead as Jade hung up.

Artemis looked at Wally. "I gotta go babysit Lian."

"You're an international superstar, and you still have to babysit your niece?"

"You know it."

"Can I help?"

"If you want to."

--------------------------

Jade (gently) shoved Lian into Artemis' arms after she finished her instructions. "Don't kill your niece." She quickly left.

Artemis rolled her eyes at her sister's desperation. She turned to Wally. "Ya sure you wanna do this?"

Wally grinned. "Yep."

Artemis shrugged. "Your loss." She set the sleeping baby down in the playpen. "You want something to drink?"

"That would be great, thanks."

"No prob." She walked over to the fridge, pulling out two cans of coke. She handed one to him. "Here's to hoping that baby will stay asleep."

Wally smiled. "Cheers."

They clinked their cans together.
