Artemis stood in front of the full body mirror. She wasn't dressed yet. Her eyes could see her scrawny frame and the bruises that covered it. Cam wasn't the only one who beat her last night. It was her turn to cook, and apparently the food "hadn't been perfect", so her dad had given her a beating. What had they expected? She was a fifteen year old girl, not Jesus.

She slid on her maroon jeans, her loose gray shirt, and her beanie. She put on her black shoes with white polka dots. Her dad and Cam were actually coming today. This fact didn't actually please her. She put on her makeup. On went her lipstick and hoop earrings.

There was a knock on the door. Artemis walked over and opened it to reveal Megan. "Hey, Arty! You too, Cam! How are you guys?"

"Good," Artemis said. Cameron just grunted.

"You watching today, Cam?"

"Yeah. Crusher, too. I can't wait. C and I have been working on a little something for Paula and Arty. Unfortunately, that means that we haven't been able to come, since we were getting parts."

"Oh cool!" Her face brightened. Artemis wondered what that was about. Megan looked at Artemis. "I hope that you love it, whatever it is."

"Oh, she will," Cam promised, giving Artemis a quick kiss.

"Well, Artemis and I need to get to the wings. You should probably go ahead and sit down, Cam."

"Thanks Megan." He squeezed Artemis' hand and walked out.

Half an hour later, they were onstage. Artemis took a deep breath and started singing along with Wally as the music started up. A couple hours went by, and it was finally time for the final song. This was a solo one for Artemis.

Song: Don't Let Me Down by The Chainsmokers ft Daya

"Crashing, I hit a wall. Right now I need a miracle. Hurry up now, I need a miracle.

Stranded, reaching out. I call your name but you're not around. I say your name but you're not around.

I need ya, I need ya, I need you right now. Yeah, I need you right now. So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down. I think I'm losing my mind now. It's in my head, darling I hope that you'll be here, when I need you the most, so don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down.

Don't let me down. Don't let me down.

Don't let me down, down, down. Don't let me down, don't let me down, down, down

Running out of time. I really thought you were on my side. But now there's nobody by my side.

I need ya, I need ya, I need you right now. Yeah, I need you right now. So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down. I think I'm losing my mind now. It's in my head, darling I hope that you'll be here, when I need you the most. So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down.

Don't let me down. Don't let me down. Don't let me down, down, down. Don't let me down, down, down. Don't let me down, down, down. Don't let me down, don't let me down, down, down.

Oh, I think I'm losing my mind now, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I think I'm losing my mind now, yeah, yeah.

Yeah, don't let me down. Yeah, don't let me down. Don't let me down, oh no.

Said don't let me down. Don't let me down. Don't let me down (down, down, down). Don't let me down, down, down."

Whoops and whistles rang though the fans. Artemis' eyes searched the crowd for her family. When she found them, her mom beamed at her, giving her a thumbs up. Artemis grinned back at her. Her dad wasn't paying any attention, he just looked bored. Cam was watching, but looked completely uninterested. He gave her a sarcastic smile when he saw her looking at him.

After the show, while Cam and Artemis took advantage of the fact that they were in Paris, Young Justice walked back to their hotel themselves.

"Well, Crusher and Cam were both at the concert, so that rules out your theory, Dick," Conner said.

"Not exactly," Megan said. "Has anything been stolen?"

"No."

"Well, there you go."

"Plus," Dick added. "I'd bet money that something gets stolen while Cam and Arty are 'touring' Paris."

"I still don't think that Art is involved," Wally said.

"I know that you want to believe that she isn't, Wally, but your crush is blinding you. Artemis has been arrested. For what? Theft. She spent three months in juvie for it. I'm sorry, but things aren't looking good for her."

Unbeknownst to them, Artemis was standing behind the door. She'd come back for her jacket, and had overheard them talking.

'They think that I'm the thief? Really. That juvie time was three years ago! I haven't done anything that illegal since then, let alone steal millions of dollars worth of art! I thought that they trusted me more than this!' There was only one solution that she could see: prove her innocence to them, even if it meant playing dumb.

"Wait!" Megan exclaimed. "Cam said something about he and Crusher having a surprise for Arty and Paula! Maybe he was talking about this!"

"Maybe," Dick seemed to think about it. "I guess we can't completely rule it out. Let's just give it the benefit of the doubt for now."

"Ok."
