Here we go again! So, I'm slightly changing the way I'm writing this, I'm sorry. My inspiration is fading (not surprising, I mean, the number of chapters is... sheesh! This will be the last chapter that I do both a song chapter and a sightseeing chapter in the same city (if I decide I have enough inspiration). It's gonna just switch between those for the last few chapters. I kinda hate that I halved it like that, but I do NOT have the motivation for 14 more chapters. Sorry. Anyway, here's your pathetic excuse for an update.

City: Honolulu, USA

Song: Wonderland by Taylor Swift.

Wally had noticed that Artemis was acting a little strange. It felt almost like she was keeping something from him. He reminded himself to not be angry, even if she was hiding something. She was used to having to hide things.

As they helped set up the stage, Wally thought back to their adventure babysitting Lian. The baby was sweet for the most part. But there was one point where she screamed for half an hour before Jade and Roy got back and Jade took her.

Wally only felt reassured because he remembered Willow doing the same thing.

Artemis was helping Conner set up up his drums. Wally ran over to help, and together they soon had it ready.

After everything onstage was set up, they hurried backstage to get ready. He changed into jeans, a pair of black Nikes, and a merch hoodie for the tour. A perk about their usual aesthetic, they could dress however they wanted.

Eventually, they were onstage. Artemis started singing, and his attention turned squarely onto her.

"Flashing lights and we, took a wrong turn and we. Fell down a rabbit hole. You held on tight to me. Cuz nothing's as it seems. Spinning out of control.

"Didn't they tell us 'don't rush into things'? Didn't you flash your green eyes at me? Haven't you heard what becomes of curious minds?"

'Is this about me?' He wondered. 'Can't be Cam, his eyes are blue.'

"Ooh didn't it all seem new and exciting? I felt your arms twisting around me. I should've slept with one eye opened at night.

"We found wonderland. You and I got lost in it. And we pretended it could last forever, eh. We found wonderland. You and I got lost in it. And life was never worse but never better, eh.

"In wonderland, eh. In wonderland, eh. In wonderland, eh. In wonderland

"So we went on our way. Too in love to think straight. All alone or so it seemed. But there were strangers watching. And whispers turned to talking. And talking turned to screams."

'Where the heck is this going?' Wally thought. He never knew what to expect from this song.

"Didn't they tell us 'don't rush into things'? Didn't you flash your green eyes at me? Didn't you calm my fears with the Cheshire cat's smile?

"Ooh, didn't it all seem new and exciting. I felt your arms twisting around me. It's all fun and games, 'til somebody loses their mind.

"Oh darling, we found wonderland. You and I got lost in it. And we pretended it could last forever, eh. We found wonderland. You and I got lost in it. And life was never worse but never better, eh.

"In wonderland, eh. In wonderland, eh. In wonderland, eh. In wonderland.

"I reach for you. But you were gone. I knew I had to go back home. You searched the world for something else. To make you feel like what we had. And in the end in wonderland we both went mad.

"Oh, we found wonderland. You and I got lost in it. And we pretended it could last forever, eh. We found wonderland. You and I got lost in it. And life was never worse but never better, eh. We found wonderland. You and I got lost in it. And we pretended it could last forever, eh.

"We found wonderland. You and I got lost in it. And life was never worse but never better. In wonderland."

The song came to an end. Everyone else on stage clearly knew the song already, so why hadn't he? True, he'd been sick for a couple days, but they'd tell him about a new song. Or not, apparently.

After the show, he ran up to Artemis, catching her arm. "Hey, Arty!"

She quickly turned around to face him. "What the h***?! You nearly gave me a heart attack, Wallace!"

Wally cringed. "Sorry. I was wondering why I hadn't heard that new song of yours yet."

"Oh, I literally just finished writing it yesterday morning when you were still sick. Then I forgot to tell you. I'm sorry!"

"It's fine!" Wally assured her, flashing her a smile. "I thought that that was probably why. It's just, I wasn't expecting a new song, especially one so-"

"Weird?" Artemis filled in, laughing. "It's not about anyone in particular. Just sort of something that I starting writing at 3am that I ended up liking."

"Oh. Hey, you wanna go out for some dessert? There's a shaved ice place like two blocks away from the hotel that's AMAZING."

"Sure, Wally. Sounds delicious," She grinned.

"Good. C'mon, let's go!"

Artemis grabbed her stuff, calling to her mom where they were going before they left the theater.
