Artemis stood onstage with Wally. This was a song they'd written together, and hopefully the fans liked it as much as they did.
Song: West Coast by Imagine Dragons
"One more day, we'll spend together. Let your eyes look up upon me for the better. Oh I know, I'm worse for weather. But, my love, I won't up.
Spend my days, cursing my soul. Wishing I could paint my scars and make me whole. Oh, I know I could be better, but, my love, I won't give up.
I ain't no Superman. I ain't no Holy Ghost. I'm just the one who keeps you up at night, you love the most."
"I'll be your strong man. I'll be your west coast. I'll be the sun, I'll be the waves, I'll be the one you love the most."
"Ohhh, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be your west coast, honey."
                              "Ohhhh, Ohhh, ohhh."
"Ohhh, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be your west coast, honey."
                              "Ohhh ohhh ohhh ohh ohhh."
"I'll change my ways, if you would stay. All those tears that you have cried will go away. Oh, just grant me one more day. Oh, my love, I won't give up. So, my love, please don't give up."
"I see the devil at my door. I see the future of the ones that I've ignored. I was born to be at war. But, my love, I won't give up. So, my love, please don't give up."
                              "I ain't no Superman."
"I ain't no Holy Ghost.
                              "Ohhhh."
"Ohhh, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be your west coast, honey."
                              "Ohhh."
"Ohhh, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be, I'll be your west coast, honey."
Huge cheers erupted from the crowd. The six teens took a bow, and went off to sign autographs. Two hours later, Artemis and Wally walked around backstage. Wally's arm was draped over Artemis' shoulders.
                              "Wally?"
                              "Yeah?"
                              "Promise you won't be mad?"
A sickening feeling formed in Wally's gut. "Yes."
"I-i did it again. I didn't take my pills and I should've, and-"
                              "Let me see, Arty."
Artemis pulled up her sleeve to reveal her forearm.
Wally felt like vomiting when he saw the scabs. "Baby, you gotta take your meds. I know you don't always want to, but it breaks my heart when you don't. Why didn't you?"
                              "I needed to be punished."
                              Wally's eyes widened. "For what?!"
Artemis sniffled. "For getting in your way. And for hitting you."
"Arty, I was unreasonably angry about you getting in the way. I tripped and spilled a few cds. Big whoop. It's NOTHING compared to your mental health, ok, Baby? And you hit me by accident. Sure, it hurt, but it was an accident and you apologized. Always come to me if you 'need' to be punished for something, Arty, ok?"
                              "Ok."
The two took in the sights of the city of New Delhi as they walked back to their hotel. Wally still sad his girlfriend thought she needed to punish herself when he didn't. The poor girl had gotten far too used to being considered "bad" that she thought that everyone would consider ridiculous things to be bad enough that they needed a physical punishment. It was horrifying, and Wally wanted nothing more than to get rid of that mindset.
