Hello all:
First and foremost, we are one entry away from filling up these awards. We just need one more entry in the horror/paranormal/thriller genre, and then complete and total judging will begin. As you know, I have completed judging for fanfiction, and am currently working on poetry.
I've also been asked a lot about when judging will be completed. I'm not giving a timeline, especially since the awards aren't even completely fill yet. However, winners will be announced before the first of September, as I will have two separate days with eighteen hour car rides in August, so a lot of judging will definitely be done then.
Finally, you cannot earn bonus points. Some awards say if you do such and such of thing you can earn fifteen bonus points, and other stuff like that. To me, that's not fair. The way that I wish to do this is to reward the book that of those entered in each genre, shows the highest performance. I don't want to reward the prizes to the participant who tries to impress me the most with something other than their book, sorry.
