We are at the seven eleven store, and I’m finding some sodas for the party, Oliver was probably asking some people where to find the beer, yet it’s right beside the sodas.
“I found some sodas, Oliver” I said I turned back and he’s not anywhere behind me, I looked around to find him, but he’s not there. I grabbed the pack of soda and left to find him, I ran for like 100feet per second. Then I saw him walking to counter. With his eyes focused on
Emily, my best friend before and that was like a million years ago.
I went forward and shown myself up. As Emily turned around I cut in immediately
“Oliver, I’ve been looking for you” I said pretending not to notice her. then I can see her at the corner of my eye rolling her eyes on me, probably shocked to my transformation to a school nerd to a school famous, not actually “Famous”, but more of a level-up type of awesomeness. And well. She’s still And she’s staring at my arms where Hunter wrote his number, I tried to hide my arms at the back of my body and I smiled and pretended to notice her.
“Hey, Emily” I said with a smile
“Hey” she said back smiling, actually a fake smile, she always smiles like that when the cheerleaders tease her and walked out. I’ve apparently known her for years and I know that that smile is fake, clearly Fake. Fake. Fake. Fake.
“I was just walking around and I saw Emily just came here to say ‘hey’ to her” Oliver said, and I can feel Emily’s heart pounding from over here, I mean she’s always like that to Oliver, he was her crush since first grade. See that? First Grade.
Then the cashier gave Emily her Strawberry Slurpee, Well that was her favourite since birth.
“Here you go ma’am” The Cashier said
“Hey, we’ll buy this soda, and money” Oliver said rudely, well he never did that in front of anybody and my mouth dropped in my mind and gave Emily Did-you-see-that? Face, then she gave me a nod and a smile.
“Okay, Emily, we’ve got to go” I said nicely
“Yeah, sure” she said back
We’re heading towards the entrance door, and Oliver looked at me in the eye, and I just smiled and head to the car and went back to the party. We were both silent until we reach Giana’s house. We both went inside then he was gone instantly, I sat down on the couch where Hunter and I talked. While sitting there I grabbed my iPhone tucked in my pocket and saved Hunter’s number. I don’t know why, but that’s because I’m bored and I have no one to talk to, but eventually someday I need to call him.
Then I just remembered June’s birthday’s coming up, the day after tomorrow, and I don’t have any gift yet for my sister, oh no, my heart starts to pound and my mind is rumbling so hard until,
“Aw, your saving my number” that stranger said like he saw a cute puppy, I looked at him behind the couch and rolled my eyes. He sat next to me for minutes and stares so badly.
“What are you looking at?” I asked with my eyes narrowed on him
“You” he said
“Can you at least be normal?” I asked
“I AM in my normal perspective, for your information” he said demanding
“You are clearly not in MY normal standards, Mr. Ryan Blake” I said
“Anyway, want some beer?” he said
“I’m not that alcoholic” I said
“Really? Cause, a while ago you were drinking a whole can in front of me” he said
“As you said, I was in a bad mood” I said
“You look like you are now” he said making him a little bit worried
“No I’m not, I just forgot something” I said
“What is it?” he said
“It’s none of your business” I said holding my head
“Did Oliver knew about this?” he asked
“No, I don’t want him to worry” I said
“I don’t think anything could make him worry” he said
“I know his fear” I said
“What? Losing you?” he asked and laughed holding his stomach
“It’s true” I said in an irritating manner, how could somebody laugh at this kind of serious stuff? I really can’t believe this person, he’s totally an alien.
“No it’s not” he said
“It is, he told me every weakness he has” I said
“Did you know he was afraid of a spider?” he asked, Oliver never told he was afraid of spiders, but of course Hunter was just joking, I know it, Oliver would never lie to me, ever, and he promised that. I think.
“T-That’s ridiculous, he’s not afraid of spiders” I said
“That’s what you think” he said smiling devilishly
“It’s not what I think, it’s true and absolutely real” I said protesting
“Really? Have you ever tried knowing if it’s true? Are you even curious?” he asked
“N-no W-hat?” I admitted
“You shouldn’t be asking this kind of stuff, you know” I continued
“Is there something wrong or bad in being curious?” he said ‘Why is he always right?’ I thought. I hate that.
“Why am I always right” he said, I was shocked he can read my mind, but of course that’s impossible, no one can do that, it was just a simple coincidence. I just opened my mouth and wondered.
“I can read people’s minds” he winked at me and my mouth dropped but of course it wasn’t that obvious like before, like 100 inches away from my teeth.
“Really? What am I thinking now?” I said, I can’t think of any words so there was just 3 words that popped up to my mind ‘I Love You’ I thought. Then he stares at me as if he can see everything, he can scan everything in me until he spoke up
“I Love You” he said, now my mouth dropped a million inches away from my own mouth.
