My heart stopped and thought of nothing, I stood there holding myself in the coldness of the rain watching the light come closer and closer. Then it stopped. A man came out of the car, he ran towards me and held me in the arms, I can’t see his face and the rain pours so hard.
“Wh – What are you doing here?” the man said with a familiar tone removing his jacket and put it on me
“S-Stranger?” I asked
“Well, the one and only” he said and I removed my tears from my eyes

“Going home, what about you, I can’t think of any reason why you’re in the middle of the street crying in this rain” he said
“You were right” I said starting to cry again

“Yes” I said before I nod, another minutes passed and he came up with some words.
“Uhm, you know, I should take you home” he said
“I can walk” I said trying to be humble
“In the middle of the rain? No.” he said grabbing my arm, I can’t resist him, I went inside the car as he went to his seat and starts the car, he was driving so fast, but I don’t care I want to go home.

“Come on, Hazel, I know you believed me in the first place” he said

“About what?” I asked shaking, because I’m so cold

“We’re here” he said, my eyebrows raised and look at the window, and it’s right there, my house is standing on the same place and nothing unusual
“H-how did you know this is my house?” I asked
“I always pass here, and I always see you through your window” he said
“Okay” I said slowly “Anyway, Thank you” I said opening the car door “Stranger” I scribed
“Don’t mention it” he said as I close the door, then he start to leave
While I was walking towards our house, I remembered I don’t have a gift for my sister yet. And then I ran into our house and went to my bedroom to change my wet and soaked dress.
I went to my bed lying on my soft covers and sheets, I closed my eyes for minutes, thinking of the things that have happened today. I need someone to talk to, someone who I can share everything. And someone who can give me tips in buying a gift for my sister.
