Yet another faux pas witnessed, this one being the mere usage of an incorrect idiom which is so widely used correctly; bar some who cannot grasp its proper use at all.
The term is: To knit your brow.
It means to frown whereby you would move your eyebrows down and together) because you are thinking carefully, or because you are angry or worried or about to die.....It's first and foremost an idiom.
It's also a synonym for furrowed brows.You cannot, I repeat, YOU CANNOT knit your eyes.
