Tyr

My bio (About me) for those of you who don't know.  It details (sarcastically) a little section about the fruits of my loins)  Not specifically about the normal children birthed but rather the ones that Odin could foresee as attributes to Ragnarok.  The ones his son's actually likened to monsters.

This chapter and the subsequent one, forgiving of the waffle above will attempt to briefly introduce two irksome but important Æsir. Both I'll discuss. Not at length because they irritate me and both are a tad too self absorbed to warrant much attention. Not to mention; vainglorious.  And of course, as always; to educate the ones out there whom think they know all yet know so little.

• | Tyr ~ God of War (Aka) Odin's first born son.

The one who had his hand bitten off courtesy of my son.  He had a bit part in TDW (if you did not know).

I rather think that the idiom;
'Never bite the hand that feeds'  Actually stems from his stupidity.  I mean, one whom is daft enough to put their hand into a vicious gaping maw is obviously going to lose said accidentally proffered limb especially if said limb is in the mouth of a hungry angered wolf.

Down Fenny....

Aside from this.  He is an exceptional warrior even with his enchanted gauntlet. Very fast and agile.  He knows that his own battle skills are legendary (arrogant bastard).

None of the Æsir nor Vanir can best him with a sword. Tyr is only really a match for Thor on the battlefield and that is largely due to Thor's raw power, strength and stamina, even without Mjolnir, his mighty hammer by his side.

Yes, the one handed cretin who captured my son alongside Thor whom later tethered him in Gleipnir.

Ahh another tale; did you know that three of them Frey, Tyr and Baldr (on The Allfather's order) marched to Jötunheim to steal the fruit of my loins whilst their mother slept idly by their cots?

Did you know that between them, the gods created a ruse to separate her from our bairns and with horror on her face at the ploy; attempted to protect them? Angrboda was slain in trying to safeguard her kin.

Three armed gods against one giantess - hardly fair game.
