It'd been 5 years since that ill-fated day. Valentine's Day. Manik Malhotra, who'd reverted back to his Monster ways for the world, still had a place in his heart for his Star, his Nandini, who now had a whole new world herself.

Wooohooooo! Alright, the wait is over, it's time to meet the Oberois! (at least some of them ;)) I hope this chapter clears some more confusion as to the whole dynamic between Nandini, her family, and Malik-Raichand.
I hope you're liking Malik and Raichand as much as I am, they're a figment of my imagination, but somewhere, I see Malik as a mix of Manik and Shivaay, and Raichand as a mix of Cabir and Abhimanyu, but you might notice that in the upcoming chapters!
Without further ado, let's get to it!
Song of the Chapter: BuddhuSa Mann, Kapoor and Sons --------------------------//------------------------------
"Ishu, what the hell happened with that Dewaan boy?"
A strong voice spoke from behind Nandini.
Manik looked at the source, and found a boy, maybe a bit older, well-built, with messy hair and a frown.
'How many boys is she friends with?'
He thought to himself angrily and Cabir chuckled, as if hearing his inner monologue.
Nandini facepalmed, already knowing who it was, while Raichand looked downright scared and Malik whispered, sighing,
"Beda gard hona hai",
His inner Punjabi dialect coming out in a slight British accent.
The three moved together, facing the boy.
"Arey Rudy! Tu kab aaya! Tujhse hi milne aa raha tha! Acha yaar woh uss din mere saath jo ladki thi na, tere baare mein pooch rahi thi, kya-"
Raichand exclaimed happily, going towards Rudra Singh Oberoi, trying to change the subject, but was silenced with a hand.

"Raichand, abhi nahi. Ishu, chup kyun hai? Tell me right now, what did Dewaan do?"
Rudra asked, more like threatened, in a growl.
Manik was perplexed, why was he being so protective? Even more so than that Ayan, speaking of which, why wasn't Ayan saying anything to him?
"Rudy, let it go na, we handled it."
Malik, a man of few words, tried to complace Rudra, who shook his head once again.
"Tum dono ek tarfaaashiq ho kya? Maine Ishu se poocha hai, she will answer me na! Tum itna fudak kyu rahe ho?"
He yelled, finally losing his patience, as Malik muttered something under his breath and rolled his eyes, while Raichand ran his hands through his hair, his eyes squeezed close.
