Dragons, Plants, and a Penguin (3)

 Scar's POV: 

 Okay... 

 Okay!

 Okay!

 Iskall got kidnapped by Grian, but it turns out that he's safe. Mumbo was transforming into a dragon, like Grian, right when the large dragon carried the two architechs away. Cub and I looked at each other. 

 " Well, you heard the birdy Swede. Let's get going." Cub smirked as his tail twitched. The two of us took off into the air and followed a tracking signal to Iskall let out. Cub snorted as his tail twitched, " Antlers hurt Scar." he growled.

 I nodded my head as I flew above Cub to get a better look at the wooden antlers. The blood on the antlers had dried up by now, and the good news is that he didn't seem exactly bothered at it despite his comment. I mean, the only other person I know to have actively had antlers was Martyn. According to Grian, the evolutionist constantly grumbled on about his antlers and desire to be rid of it. 

  My thoughts continued as Cub and I flew over Hermitcraft. I looked down and saw Ren and Python on all fours chasing who I assumed was Jevin. The slime hybrid jumped onto Grian's Pickle Shop and scampered up the walls like a spooked spider. 

 The slime looked up at up and waved at me and Cub. I waved back as we disappeared through the clouds. My vine tail twitched as I looked down at Cub, " How far did Grian go?" I questioned nervously as I dove down in order to be next to Cub. 

 Cub shrugged his shoulders, " It shouldn't be long now. " he told me as he flew. Cub was right, we managed to reach a large cave that was far past Hermitcraft's main world. The two of us landed and were met by the tired snarls of a giant, black dragon. 

 Grian raised his head and smirked at Cub, " Hey PlantFan." he wheezed as his tail wagged in joy about his joke. Cub rolled his eyes, " Ha. Ha." he snorted as his tail twitched. Cub approached the dragons and penguin with his arms crossed. I followed behind him.

 I looked at Mumbo with my eyebrow raised, " Are you feeling better now Mumbo Jumbo?" I questioned him as he yawned. Mumbo's long tail twitched, " Slightly.... My whole body is sore though... I can't seem to get up either." he sighed.

 Cub crossed his arms as he looked the dragon over; his tail was twitching as he walked around the long dragon. He nodded with he came back to my side. I gave him a confused look, " You've got an idea, don't you?" I smirked as he nodded.

 Iskall rubbed at his goatee curiously with his penguin flipper. He gave Cub a mildly concerned look, " Your ideas always concern me Cubfan." he told the bear hybrid. Cub shrugged his shoulders, " We're just opposite sides of the coin, Iskall. If you were in my boots, you'd see my reasoning." 

 I looked at Iskall with a confused glance. Iskall shrugged his shoulders with an equally perplexed look. The two of us looked at Cub as he took out a small device from his inner pocket. Cub's tail wiggled as he went up to Mumbo's face. He straightened up, " Alright Mumbo, I'm going to use this device and shrink you down. You'll be roughly your normal height but still a dragon." 

 Mumbo looked between Cub, Grian, and Iskall, " Is it safe?" he frowned with his ears going back. Cub nodded, " Scar tested this one out, and it shrunk him to being a couple of inches tall." he told him. I nodded in confirmation, " You'll be safe Mumbo, and it'll be easier for you to get your energy back." I told him. 

 Grian looked at Cub, " Could you do that to me as well? I want to be able to walk through doors again." he stared at his claws with a frown. Cub nodded at him, " Yeah, I can do that." he smiled at his as he scratched at his wooden antlers. Cub's tail continued to wiggle as he shot Mumbo with the shrink ray.  

 Iskall and I covered Grian's eyes from the bright blast. I shook my head. The light was almost as intrusive as the sunlight sometimes. Mumbo let out a startled yelp as the light went away. My tail twitched as I uncovered both my eyes and Grian's eyes. The three of us looked at a smaller sized Mumbo, who was trying to stand up.

 Mumbo swayed and spread his wings out in order to balance himself. He snorted out a black smoke and coughed, " That wasn't a pleasant experience. " he shook his head. Grian sat up, " At least it probably feels better than turning into a fire breathing reptile." he mused with a small laugh.

 The architech shook his head, " You're right." he chuckled as his tail twitched. Cub looked over at Grian causing Iskall and I to move away from the red dragon. The two of us stood next to Mumbo and helped him to fully stabilize himself.

 Mumbo looked up at me, " I never got a good look at you and Cub mate... What caused you two to change exactly?" he asked. I crossed my arms over my chest as I looked at the vines that covered my body. My tail twitched as I yawned, " There is something in the air in Hermitville. " I told him.

 This only made Mumbo and Iskall give me a confused look. I explained how there was something in the air around Scara and Grian's dragon. I assume that this oddity caused the five of us to turn into something that regarded our creations. Well, Iskall, Grian, and my creation. Mumbo and Cub were, of course, dragged into this mess. Mumbo let out a sigh as he scratched at himself.

 " Does that mean that Hermitville is dangerous?" Mumbo questioned. I looked at him and frowned, " Well, no, because this didn't happen before Renbob left. " I frowned as the three of us waited for Cub to shrink Grian down.
