Of Pig and Bear

 Rik's POV:

 " OH GOD PRICE!?" 

 I hissed as I curled up in my hammock. Why were Price and Ash even up so early? I opened my eyes and looked at my small alarm clock, " Okay..... so it's nine thirty.... still early." I tiredly mumbled as I got out of bed and onto some floor pillows.

 I sighed as I attached my leg  to my metal stumpt. Heheh... Yeah, that never seems to get old. I stood up carefully and slowly walked to the main room. I wonder if Jasmine heard all the yelling. 

 " Ash calm down! It's okay!" Price yelled back as I growled. It's too early for this crap... My body twitched as I stood up and tapped my peg leg against the ground. It's stable, good. I don't want a repeat of last week. 

 I walked into the room to find Ash on the floor. My eyes widened as I stared at Ash's body. My friend's legs were pink and fluffy with little, black hooves on the end. One of Ash's hands was also pitch black and a hoof. I glanced over at Price as he anxiously rubbed at his bear-like ears. 

 The two looked at me with alarmed looks. Ash squealed and scampered to his feet as Price grabbed him and helped him stand straight. Price looked at me, " Hi, Rik..." he grinned awkwardly as his sharp canines flashed.

 " Hey Price, Ash..." I nodded at the two. Ash tapped his hooves against the ground, " How... How are you, Rik?" he stumbled over his words as he played with his now curly tail. I shrugged my shoulders, " I'm fine... I'm more questioning, " I motioned to their new appearances, " this..."

 The two looked at each other, " We... We don't really know how this happened..." Price sighed as he turned to his side and showed his little bear tail. He let out a sigh as he scratched at his tail. Ash rubbed at his hoof, " Yeah, we both woke up this way, and it's real hard to walk." he sighed. 

 " And ya'll say that I'm 'overreacting' when I nearly fall over." Price smirked causing Ash to snort. I rolled my eyes, " So, " I looked around the room, " as weirded out as I am by this, where's Jas?" I questioned with a tilt of my head. 

 The two shrugged their shoulders. I looked over at the other bedroom and walked over to it. I sighed as I knocked on the door, " Jasmine? Jasmine! If you're in there, you need to come out and see this!" I called out as grumbling came from the other side of the door. 

 The door soon opened to a tired Jas still dressed in her pajamas. The moment she laid eyes on Price and Ash, her eyes lit up with no sense of tiredness. The magical member of our party grinned, " Oh my god! It worked!" she clapped her hands together.

 Price's ears twitched, " Now, what the hell does that mean?" he questioned as he put his hands on his hips. Jasmine waved her hand at him, " Calm down Price. Look, I was testing out some magic, and it related to a species swap spell." she explained as the rest of us stared at her in silence.

 " You two are you only hybrids out of our group, and you were both in proximity to each other for the spell to work properly." Jasmine finished with a nod. Price snorted, " Did the spell have to be hybrids only? Couldn't you have, I don't know, swap Rik and Ash?" he questioned as I frowned, " Hey! I would rather not wake up with a tail and ears." I snorted. Well, I sometimes do wake up with a tail, but they don't know about that, of course. 

 Jasmine rolled her eyes, " Look, I can fix you guys real quickly. I just wanted to test this spell out for a more entertaining purpose." she smiled as Ash's tail twitched and hoof tapped against the ground. Price let out a growl, " What more entertaining purpose?" he questioned as he stared at her.

 " We could prank the other servers! Imagine how fun that'd be!" Jasmine grinned as we looked at each other. Ash sighed, " That does sound fun, but I want my tail, ears, and normal legs back." he frowned as he rubbed his legs with his hoof hand. Price nodded in silent agreement. 

 Jasmine nodded towards Ash before retreating back to the bedroom; she grabbed my arm and quickly dragged me into the room as well. I fell onto the bed with a shocked look as the door closed.

 " Why did you do that?!" I gasped as Jasmine got to work on the spell, " If this goes wrong, I don't want you being turned into a pig hybrid or bear hybrid." she deadpanned as I nodded. After a few minutes of colorful lights, puffs, and huffs, Ash and Price let out sharp gasps. 

 I got back up and opened the door to Ash and Price on the ground again. The two had been quickly swapped back as if they were never swapped in the first place. Price looked at his pink legs with a smile, " Oh I missed you my leg warmers...." he nuzzled at the fur. Ash fluffed his tail and rubbed his ears, " and I missed my tail and ears... " he yawned as he reached his hand up to scratch at his re-sharpened canines. 

 Ash and Price looked directly at Jasmine with angered, tired looks, " One. Never make a spell painful. Two....."

 The two stood up with annoyed looks:

 " NEVER TEST IT ON US!"

 Jasmine nodded with an amused look. She rubbed the back of her head as she looked between the two, " I'll keep that in consideration..." she chuckled as everyone rolled their eyes and went on with their day. I went back to my room and sat down at my desk to work on one of my robotic legs.
