 Scar's POV:

Ah, the month of October. A time where we can carve amazing jack-o-lanterns, and we can be in awesome costumes. This time, however, I wasn't in Hermitcraft building my mega game or working on Concorp with Doc. Instead, I was in Woltria, and there was something odd about the magical world.

See, with the beginning of October, the time where ghosts and other monsters roam around and connect with the ground. A lot of servers seemed to get that spooky spirit, but Woltria seems to be more magical with its look.

The above me was an evening orange; it got darker as the day progressed. The weirdest part was that the dark blues that should've appeared were not appearing. I frowned as I tightened my coat. It was also freezing cold here. Fall leaves whipped past me as I continued to walk the path up to the castle.

I sighed. I should've brought Cub or Doc with me. They were both better at fighting and dealing with the unknown unlike me. I enjoy Halloween as much as the next guy, but I've never seen this world last Halloween. I have no idea what will happen.

I looked around and saw S holding an umbrella. He was looking around rather anxiously, " S?" I called out causing the Scotts-Russian to jump out of his skin. S whipped his head to me and let out a relieved sigh.

" Ah, Scar... Have you seen Q? At all?" S questioned as he covered his mouth with his orange and purple scarf. I shook my head, " Sorry, I haven't..." I told him, " What's wrong, S?" I questioned in turn causing S to stiffen.

The penguin hybrid's tail shook, " I should not say, but I suppose that you've already seen the changes to our world..." he sighed as he kept his scarf around his neck and mouth. S looked around, " Originally for Halloween, we'd, for some weird reason, fuse into our costumes." he explained with a fix of his glasses.

" Did it happen again?" I questioned as I fixed my hat. S tilted his head slightly, " Sort of... None of us have our costumes yet, but it seems like we are, instead, monsters..." he shuddered slightly. S looked at me as he fixed his glasses, " I...I'm turning into a vampire, but my hands..." he moved his hands away from his face.

I looked down at his hands and let out a small gasp that caused S to flinch. S looked at me with a worried look. The hybrid's fingers were turning black as obsidian, " but my hands hurt so much as well..." he whimpered as he crossed his arms.

" That's why I need to find Q... I... I don't know what happened to him..." S's tail shook. I put my hand on my neck and thought, " Have you searched the water?" I questioned causing S's eyes to widen, " T-the water! Why didn't I think of this before!?" his tail twitched, " S, you are a bloody idiot!" he shook his head as he turned and ran down the path after thanking me.

So, if everyone is changing into monsters, then what is happening to Mighty? I mean, she's been acting odd since the end of September. Namely, she's been hostile, secretive, and white and blue fur has been replacing her brown fur and hair. I shook my head as I finished walking the path up to the front door of the castle.

When I touched the doorknob, my body froze up. The knob was colder than a freezer as I touched the knob. I shivered and pulled my hand back. I shook my head and gripped the knob again.

I opened the door and shivered at the sudden chill that escaped from the castle. I fixed my coat again as I entered the castle. Ice seemed to form up the ways and towards the upper area. I frowned. Maybe I should have asked Stress or Iskall to come with me as well.

" M-Mighty?" I called out in a stuttering way as I put my hands onto the railing upstairs. I shivered again. Once again, it was cold.

Everything was dark, cold, and eerie around me. I was alone in an eerie castle; almost void of life. I fully climbed up the stairs and looked over at the throne that sat in front of map of Woltria embedded into stain glass.

On the throne, Mighty was curled up in the darkness. I shook myself out, " Mighty?" I questioned as I took a step forward. Mighty's body perked up as she stared at me with her glowing blue eyes. The hybrid hissed as ice seemed to surrounded the room around us.

I raised my hands, " Mighty, it's Scar..." I told the hybrid as Mighty uncurled herself. Five, blue, brown, and black tails rose and twitched in different ways. The hybrid hissed as she got down from the throne and stood on all fours.

Mighty hissed and twitched as a white mist, illuminated by the lanterns above, seemed to grow in strength. Clear icicles seemed to form around Mighty as the hybrid stared at me. The icicles shot towards me like arrows as I yelped and hid behind one of the pillars.

The icicles slammed into the room and broke into millions of pieces. Some of the pieces managed to slam into my arm causing pain to shoot through my limb. I glanced out from the pillar and looked at Mighty.

" mrrr...." Mighty panted as more icicles began to rise into the air. I narrowed my eyes and pulled back as the icicles once against flew past me. I took out my bow and opened my inventory for my different stacks of arrows.

Transformation, fire, ice, electricity, vex, void.... No, no, no....

I need numbing... or sleep at least.

More icicles were slamming against the wall as the ground started to become covered by the icy gleam. My body shivered as I finally found the numbing arrow. I slid it into the bow and let out a shaky breath. My breath almost mimicked the look of the mist around me.

I steadied my footing as I stepped out of my hiding place. Mighty hissed and barked as she charged towards me. I readied the arrow and fired as Mighty leapt at me. The arrow jabbed into Mighty's side causing the hybrid to slide across the ice.

Mighty hit the wall causing the hybrid to twitch and whine. The hybrid's tails all started to curl up. I let out a sigh, " We're all lucky that this works like a sleep dart..." I sighed as I gently took out the arrow. The wound quickly healed itself up.

I picked Mighty up, " Let's get you back to Hermitcraft... X or Cub should look you over...." I sighed as I gently went down the icy steps. The ice started to disappear as I left the castle. Mighty's tails twitched as I made my way back to the portal.
