Author's Note: Another pun! Praise be to the multitude of puns that I can come up with. Enjoy this weird lil oneshot that I got the idea of.

Mumbo's POV:
I covered my mouth with my shirt as I yawned. The last of the redstone that needed to be fixed for Sahara for fixed, and I'm glad that it only took me a day to do. I looked over at Iskall as he curled up in his meeting chair; he's been at it for two days on his project. Across from the Swede, Grian was looking at the redstone machine while glancing at his own book.
Now, I don't trust my short friend around the redstone. From potatoes to water, he's set us back a few times now. I walked out of the redstone heavy room and let out a sigh. I needed to wake both of them up. Well, I could let them sleep here, but the monsters could easily get in here, and my two friends could easily catch a cold a shivering, very open place like this one.
The Autumn weather that joined with the night sent shiver up my shine. It could've also been those feelings of being watched by something in the shadows; this place is incredibly dark and open, after all.
I looked down from the upper landing to find something, a mob perhaps? No, no it was something sentient and aware of what it was doing. The creature jerked its head up to look up at me. I ducked down and hurried back into the room where Grian and Iskall were.
Grian looked up at me with a tired look. His eyes opened to a more alarmed expression, " Mumbo, you look like Doc came and tried to kill you." he frowned as he stood up. I frowned at him as I fixed my redstone covered suit.
" Shhh!" I raised my finger as I motioned for Grian to follow. Grian closed his book and followed behind me. The two of us were low to the ground, like thieves sneaking into a building, and we made our way to the wall that led to the lower area.
The two of us peered down into the lower area to Sahara. The creature was still there and gathering pieces of redstone, redstone machinery, and an assortment of magical items. Grian looked at me with a frown, " What is that thing? It's stealing all of our money making stuff! Bloody hell, we worked so hard on getting that stuff." he narrowed his eyes.
Grian stood up and put his elytra on, " G-g-grian, what are you doing?" I harshly whispered as he looked down at me. The shorter hermit grinned at me, " I'm making sure that we don't get robbed, Mumby." he smirked as he jumped down.
The creature looked at Grian and started to back away. Grian took out his sword and spread his elytra out.
" Ah won't let you get away with your thievery beast!"
I perked up at the sound of the voice. A bright light broke through the darkness of Sahara's main building. I shielded my eyes and groaned before blinking a lot in order to recover. When my vision adjusted to the sudden light, I saw who made it.
Joe Hills.
Why was he here? Why was he even awake at this hour?
The creature looked between Grian and Joe as they approached it. The two had their weapons out and were slowly approaching the small thief. It looked between Grian and Joe with its head rapidly jerking around. Its ears perked up as it dropped the bag from its mouth.
I watched as the creature's whole body started to glow as it stared at the bag. Grian and Joe looked at each other and turned to run. My whole body shook as I dove into the other room right as the creature slammed down into the bag. I threw up a shield with my hands in order to protect Iskall's sleeping body and my own from the redstone and magic excess. Grian and Joe still got the full force of that magic and redstone blast now...
What that creature could do? I don't know.
After an hour, the air cleared and down went the force field. I walked into the room with a nervous expression and looked down. Grian and Joe were both unconscious on the ground. The redstone dust covered the two from head to toe. I looked between the elevator and Iskall.
I need help. I hurried over to where Iskall was sleeping and shook him awake. The Swede jumped with a start and nearly hit me in the throat with fist. I threw my arms up and blocked with punch.
" Oh my god Mumbo! I am sorry!" Iskall gasped as he looked at me. I lowered my arms as Iskall took his redstone covered jacket off and rubbed his eyes with his blanket shirt. I frowned at him, " S-something was trying to steal the redstone! Grian and Joe are hurt!" I gasped causing Iskall's eye to widen.
The two of us hurried down to the lower area. I kneeled down next to Grian and wiped the redstone off his face. He breathed heavily as his eyes twitched. I looked over at Iskall as he sat Joe up. A weak groan escaped from the two's mouths.
Grian opened his eyes and coughed up some red dust. He looked at the two of us and coughed again, " Ya'll better explain what happened 'ere cause ah'm mighty alarmed..." Grian clutched his throat.
I looked at Iskall as he gave me a similar alarmed look, " Grian, are you alright my dude?" he questioned with a raise of his eyebrow. Grian frowned, " Ah don't know. Feels like somethin' is wrong, but ah just can't put mah finger on it..." he took his hand off his throat.
Joe opened his eyes, " I believe that I got an idea on what happened mate..." he took out a water bottle and poured it over his redstone covered hands. Iskall slowly helped Joe onto his feet as I aided Grian up.
" That creature, I do not know how, seemed to have change how we speak. We're both just fortunately that our minds are still the same." Joe rubbed his chin. I crossed my arms. They both had their voices changed? Or was it dialect? I don't know.
Joe looked at the large thing of redstone that was left behind by the creature. He looked at the dust and nodded his head, " We should get Xisuma on this, but it's best that we try to get us fixed before then." he looked out into the shopping district, " Do you believe that you can create a potion to swap our ways of speaking back to normal?" he questioned towards Iskall.
Grian frowned, " Can ya Iskall? Ah admit that this is cool 'n all, but I prefer to speak in a more under-understandable way..." he crossed his arms. Iskall looked between the two, " I should.." he smirked tiredly as the four of us walked over to the potion area after Iskall gathered the necessary supplies in order to fix our two friends.
